Who gives a crap about IGN? If you haven't played one of their 3 demos yet and you like RTSes, you're missing out... buy this game today

Actually any gun gets too many headshots, it feels like the head is too big and shooting someone in their face or in their helmet is exactly the same :(.

I got a better idea, why don't you make a CS2 with these changes and leave the CS:Source as a graphical upgrade to 1.6

Make lots of changes in a separate game and once, and people will be fine. Make tiny little changes that affect long time gamers, and people will be pissed.

What is it with changing the prices? We finally got used to them, they make sense.. perhaps they will raise the upper limit from $16,000 to something higher?

Not every unit is good against everything else. Rock paper scissors is only there up to a point, what it really boils down to is that instead of having X->Y->Z->X, there's more like 20 different variables that need to be taken into account.

And can we get into beta by preordering this game? I don't wanna hang around the forums all day

Maybe I can get a few of my friends to play that game now that it's free! It's just too much like Natural Selection to pass this up ;).

Did everyone miss the fine print that it's going to be dual ported to Xbox 360? Expect a watered down port on the PC with shoddy controls. X-Wing sim? More like Rogue Squadron.

Chill people, they're not cancelling Atlantis.. and Sg-1 was getting kind of lame without RDA. Although I will miss SG-1 much.

I just feel really sorry for those guys who subscribed to FilePlanet last week to get into 2142 only to be screwed over now..

What is it with these subscriber-only betas? Don't they do any _real_ closed beta testing anymore where candidates are picked based on previous experience?

yeah, thats disappointing.. I was trying to hop on a deathmathch server to freshen up my CS skills but had to resort to going on a classic server instead. Oh well.

Oh yeah, the guys at LucasArts make sure everything is canon, like having an Eclipse stolen by a crime lord under the Imperials noses... please.

I figure in about 5 years when all the teenagers have no idea wtf Star Wars is, if LucasArts wants to keep releasing more SW games they'll have to please the long-time fans by covering the EU and making good quality games.

Cross-platform is an evil word. All the platforms are the same blue, X86. Try cross-OS instead or multi-OS instead ;).

If they just spent 10% of the advertising fees on a PC game I'm sure they'd be able to make an other SW classic.

Why wouldn't there be a sequel? Wasn't that clearly implied at the end of Prey?

Wow that's bullshit, I was ready to subscribe the moment I got home from work until I read this...

If you have to subscribe anyways, then why the hell aren't there more keys? You're getting paid for a beta you fools!

How much? If it's still $10, I'd buy it. If it's $20, they're way over their heads.
