I guess this answers the questions of those would-be-respondants and their skepticism whether Raven had the ability to pull of a Quake 4 prequal with their in-house talents??

nice of "Brian Livingston" to point that flaw out... but, no server(s) on networks I support use CD Roms

SO I guess microsoft can keep their never ending search for the ultimate OS going

"hear ya!" "hear ya" "I'll second that!"

and to add to the suppose'ed transformations in lighting and richer moe-del details they've been able supplant... "WHAT IS THE DEAL NOT CONVERTING to DVD???" 4Gb worth of game play medium versus 700Mb..??? the developers are poking us in the eyes and giving high noonfinger puppets

"GREAT BELLS OF FIRE!"

"what the F@#k?" and what the "F@#K!" is up with Duke Nukem Forever? and the damn eye festival that's supposed to be?

From what I understand... nothing could be worse than the vacuous effect from the expectations Epic had us to believe about Undone 2 a.k.a UNREAL 2

"What up Cliffy B.???"

this, actually looks promising. But, I'll reserve my comments until I have the disc

But, I just have to make my sentiments felt...

DOLLY the cloned sheep.. passed on prematurely

"HA HA HA HA!"

I call it: "the rapidity of aged DNA starting whence it formly left off..." Due to intervention :P. As well, the systemic effects of fucking with matters best left for normal life lifecycles.

Dumbass scientist could potentially mutate or wake up a once dormant DNA strand that will deliver a nice package to us all... plus in complex organism facsimiles are always recessive...

Without apppearing too superstitious on this article. I'm just sitting back reading this article, gazing into the labyrinth of my mind's conjecture. What stands out is the blatent reluctance of the admission or omission on the sudden expiration of a genetically engineered complex organism.. "A SHEEP!"

"HEALTH!" I'm sure is an issue for debate

Just strikes me as a bit odd??? the animal lives for a few years. Collapses suddenly. the body decomposses at an unmonitored rate, when this was suppose to be a model experiment into the precision know-how of genetic research "HA HA HA!". Then for health reason a speedy cremation insues???? "OOPS!" they forgot to view the cause of death... I bet they didn't want to get near that festering corpse of pragerism. for 1) I view cloning as a pitre dish for disaster and "the shape of things to come..." man's intent to prove his prowess in perverse needs 2) religion is not my motive... I could care less about one's indoctrination or affilation 3)
I say: "let these cracker jack scientist come up with a nice way to breed mutant DNA strains so it will knock off "the lot of them"... If it doesn't do us in first

But you know what? I can't seem to shake the overwelming thought this patch won't address another issue that I've encountered which I'm sure I'm not alone on.

On Windows ME... "I know!" "I know!" "Why am using WinME?" SimCity 4 plays great until you plant several water towers and then it just crashes/ locks up. Or the fact that it just eats up way too much system resource. It turns the cursor into a blotted mess of immenant game crash. Or at least a nice case of system lock up

I said the same about Tribes 2: "Beta or not I would like to give it a run" Although, Planetside does strike me as much more of what tribes could have/ should been???? But, unfortunately I don't have the time to invest in MMORPG anymore

Why is it somehow when I see the name "Dave Georgeson". It seems to exemplify the paraphrase... CLOUD OF DOOM..

mayby I am speaking out of line on this? "But!" this does come to mind regarding the case studies on the man at hand.

The Belkin Nostromo N50 keypad is one-great-big-heaping well-preserved-gigantic-steaming-pile of stinking vomit encrusted Lion "SHIT!" (take it from me) Lion shit will knock .. YOU .. OUT

"HOW!" does belking come out with these hit and miss products?

If you don't glue the damn thing to the table you are screwed. It has no weight to keep it balanced,it's like paying 19.00 for something worth .50 cents the software runs like shit.

Spaceorb 360 was atleast a good idea. I have 5 of them and they're still tucked away collecting dust. But, at least it was a resounding aproach and a non-combative Application... "OOOPS!" I take that back. There are some issues. But, at least it functions better than the Nostromo.

Well, in my mind there still remains the fact that I work with Lightwave. Models and files sizes are relatively tiny.
when generating a model with tens of thousands of vertics and texture mapping or ray tracing can be a bear on a low end system... that's understandible.

What I don't get is just how much data is required to transfer back and forth between the client or peer systems. And, why can't instructions for rebuilding the screen be handled by simple control packets? As long everyone is playing the same game with the same models/ textures etc etc. Then the amount of data needed to rebuild the sreen should be minimal like controling a puppet with thin strings.

now if it were database driven.. I dunno it would be hell I guess. but I'm sure the packet size is never more than 200 Kbs.. I could be wrong? I've never measured a session between two systems.

And I know how the lag coeffiecent works with regard to time outs, and retransmission and lost data.

maybe my mind is to puny????? (I'm sure some of you will have fun with that comment)

I don't know??? but this doesn't seem that difficult unless by virtue of the apps embedded in the engine "it is!" the lamprey.

As you can see I am trying to salvage every bit of my desire to beleive there will be some cooperative gameplay.

It's so amusing to see how people can turn general concerns into the contemporary status quoa of adolescent cravings...

"Counter Strike" or "Unreal Tournament" equivelant game experiences??? I never made the comparison like that to DOOM III. My dissolutionment is that DOOM (the original) was a single or shared experience in the throws of battle (Deathmatch was an after thought (possibly????)

My One-Man-Force analogy has only one meaning. That would be, DOOM III would be better served/ if not a better experience if it were a team effort in the repelling of the minions of HELL.

Say for example two, three, or more soldiers cooperatively going mano et mano at the devil.

Some how the supercilious deduction of...

... wanting CS, UT Multiplayer became the topic of the day.
I really don't enjoy the total gamesmenship of mutilplayer in a public arena because it to difficult to know whom is a cheater. one of cousins can't play mutilpalyer unless he has cheat guides and codes to build himself up to superman like prowess. And I still kick his ass. The point is I enjoy fair play with a descent amount of honor and at least Coop can establish that very fast.

I can clearly see how playing DOOM will shake the shit out of someones drawers playing it late at night. It would even be better if Cooperative Multiplay was an element? what's so so DAMN difficult about that?????????????????????????

As for the link to the contraband video... "DUDE!" I'll turn my server on and you can FTP or browse to the link and have all 46.1 Mb of this master piece. I doubt if you are going to find it any where else?????

... and Damnit GROM... What is it with you? and your piteous arrogance that thinks you are the all seeing all knowing scholar of human development? I know you're an Englishman just by your verbage and your incessant need to vex me. That's okay I've met greater men than you with smaller dicks (I'm speaking metaphorically)... SO??? I'll just continue with my rebellious revelry. You're going to need a bigger stick if you want to joust me constanty... or else I'll stay on my island and you stay on your's and we'll just throw rocks at each other like two kids
