Are you kidding? All they have been doing since launch is dropping free DLC. New maps, new modes, etc.
The headline should read "Blizzard's Massive Ad Deal", at least to support the line about Battle.net. Read the original article as several publishers, not just EA are mentioned.
Most devs don't walk away just because a pub is "late". I'm guessing there were two side to the story.
Why do you have to play ranked matches? You only gain visual upgrades for ranks, not actual gameplay upgrades. I don't see how they are limiting how you play at all.
Sounds like you have low system specs along with your expectations. I play 10-20 games a week and get very little lag or drops.

Eurogamer's thinking is flawed. You could easily host 5-10 instances of the GPU and CPU power needed on a single server instance. Location also plays as simultaneous users would be proximity based and not an aggregate. As for the heat, what do you think all those Xbox's and PS3's are doing already?

Hopefully they put out a demo for the single player, because its not like the beta at all. It's a cross between commandos and Diablo 2. You only control 4 squads at the most and loot and ability upgrade decisions have significant effects on your tactics.
Fair enough. If I misrepresented you as a pirate, then I apologize. I hate piracy. I hate that is causes idiot publishers to implement draconian drm methods. I hate that there are fewer kick ass PC games than there used to be, because right or not, publishers don't think they can make money putting them out due to piracy.
