I'm really sorry to hear this, I hope things come out ok.

I tried the original screwed up demo and was majorily bummed. But after reading the reviews of the actual game I bought it. IT IS FANTASTIC!! Seriously! The various environments, sounds, and gameplay make this game impossible to put down after you start! The only drawback is a bit to much on the jump puzzles, but that's like saying you hate free money because it makes your pockets too full.

The levels are superb, and tough, the RPG elements is added just enough to give it diversity without being totally annoying, its all around a really great game!

Who the heck wouldn't want to be a program running for thier life as the hard drive is being formatted, or jump around in routers or PDA's. Plus the humor they have in there is really funny!

You're missing out if you don't pick this up!

Right after you release the SDK! Kiss my arse EA! No SDK no buying your damn expansion packs. You plan of witholding the SDK to capitalize off of expansion packs didn't work... the modders still made top notch free stuff and the only thing you did was totally blow a great opportunity. Now the modders will flock to HL2 and its fully documented and modder friendly environment while you continue to squeeze every penny you can from BF1942 players.

Nope, not me. You can take the pack and shove it! I love BF1942, the mods and the community, but EA can bite me.

retry Fileplanet... it's strange.. sometimes it shows it there... sometimes it doesn't no idea why.

Nothing like training your replacement then getting your next assignment... "fixing your replacements computers".

You know... doing this much PR this far in advance is gonna bite them in the ass. Valve shows them how its done, and yet they do not listen.

Just ask EA/DICE and the whole 'SDK' issue... "Hey lets release this great game but instead of releasing a SDK we'll hold it back, that way mods have a harder time of it and the players will buy our expansion packs because no good mods will be able to be made!". Ha! I'm so glad that Desert Combat is throwing a monkey wrench into those plans.

Where does it say they use a proprietary engine?

Someone say they wanted a Battlefield 1942 mod? Someone say use the HL2 engine.
