it's beautiful... Ended kind of abruptly, I don't know if I just got lucky and "solved" the puzzle or whether its time-limited or what. All of a sudden I was walking backward, couldn't stop or click on anything, then the end of the demo screen flashed. Weird. I'd probably pick this up, nice change of pace from the fps fare. Oh and can actually strafe in it. finally. no jump though.. invisible walls too...can't climb over 2 foot boulders..etc. Still cool

Its a better game, but more difficult, and less rewarding to play, at least for me.

Its less accessible to noobs, and while its more refined, balanced, and "better" in almost every way, its missing the indefinable "fun factor" that UT99 had in spades. Strange.
The fragmenting of the online FPS audience certainly has something to do with it as well...in 99 the onslaught of WWII online games hadn't even started.

Anyone considering any other rally game this season, just stop by http://www.richardburnsrally.com

Have to agree, by far best handling rally sim ever made..if you want to know what its like..look no further.

Best when used with a steering wheel and pedals though..easy to drive, hard to drive fast..just like the real thing.

Euro rally, haven't heard of it till now, not holding my breath.

The Manhole was developed by Cyan (who made Myst later in life for those who don't know) in 1988, with different editions being released with graphical updates and whatnot until 1994.
mobygames is a wonderful thing:)

i think this is beta soft

*edit* maybe not...

"From Steve Polge:

Epic Games is releasing patch version 3270 as the third official patch for
Unreal Tournament.

This patch is completely compatible with the retail version and previous
patches - servers and clients of any flavor can connect with each other. This
patch will not overwrite your ut2004.ini and user.ini files, except to update
settings as necessary.
