You guys grand standing thinking your country is innocent from doing anything black ops? Yes U.S.A has some issues I wont deny it, and yes our government likes to do its own thing. But to say the U.S isn't and never was about Democracy is complete bullshit. I suppose the fight against our own people to stop slavery was for oil and not to stop something that was wrong? Hate on the U.S all you want but when your country is on its knees in some war your gonna be fucking glad that the America is there to help your U.S hating ass out. /end rant.MadBoris wrote on Jun 2, 2012, 18:43:
You've all just found that most elusive political thing called TRUTH!
Isn't Iran like a sworn enemy to the death of the US or something?
Eh, anyway, nothing to see here that doesn't probably happen everyday somewhere.
We have yet another day of gaming until we all blow up someday, huzzah!
Yeah, but that sort of thing tends to happen when a foreign government topples your own government and installs a brutal dictator for its own purposes and also forces other countries into going to war with you once you get rid of said dictator. America is not now, nor has it ever been a force for democracy. American foreign policy has always been about 'Do as I say, not as I do.'

Personally Im pumped, Ive been burnt before on almost all MMO's but damnit I just cant help getting excited over this game. Id say 70% of the people talkn bad about this game right now will end up getting it.
Excited over what? It was a minute of nothing, you've seen no actual gameplay or footage. Why would you assume everyone will rush out to buy it, they have nothing to go on.

This is the same group that setup a timer for a website crash in order to announce BG:EE.
The same group that hasn't provided any sort of tangible detail besides the painfully obvious about the 'Enhanced Editions' as well.
Now these same people are already talking about BG3? Can I really be blamed for being extremely apprehensive on this matter?
As much as I'd like a BG3, I think the timing of this announcement is indicative of industry attitudes towards Kickstarter becoming some sort of free money genie so long as the idea is popular. Nothing I've seen from this company yet gives me the sort of confidence that would have me fronting cash ahead of time. But we all know if they can use the name 'Baldur's Gate3' it'll get millions of individual donations (and millions of expected unique design elements).
I'm also still VERY curious as to how they're going to manage to re-release a 2nd edition DnD game when Wizards of the Coast is promoting 4th and working on a 5th edition at the moment.
