WoW recently made a change to their death system that I really didn't like. If you take the rez from the Graveyard Spirit (whatever its called) you lose 100% durability to all your items, worn and in inventory. I dont think they added exp loss, but they hit your pocketbook because you have to repair the items, plus the time it takes to go find a merchant to repair them before you may continue adventuring.
Yeah, that was a bad move on Blizzard's part and they're going to change it:
- Players will only receive a 25% durability loss instead of 100% when using a Spirit Healer to resurrect.
- Players will now only incur a maximum 10 minutes of resurrection sickness instead of 30 minutes when using a Spirit Healer to resurrect.
We'll see how people react to that change. It's still in OB, so anything is possible. Right now the database lag from some of those 500k OB people are destroying the 40 test servers that are up. It's probably great debugging data for load testing, but it's definitely not a fun time to play.
