Chip manufacturer Chartered Semiconductor has reportedly postponed the mass production of its quieter and more efficient central processing unit for the massively popular Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console.

When did chips start making noise??

Oh come on, the thought of a court denying slashdot's source code be released, is much funnier.

I'm not saying its a bad idea from a investment standpoint as much as from a personal belief standpoint. I wish there was an easy way to do ad based games without giving a third party so much control. Honestly ad-ware companies have given themselves a bad rap over the years from releasing software that can be very dangerous for your computer. The industry needs to do more self regulation. Until then expect some people to have an issue with it.

On the other hand, being asked to invest in spyware is kinda eww. Sure they may be honest, but its a matter of an SDK that is controlled by a third party that you may not trust.

venomhed: Your asking like these are complete strangers posing as someone important. This is a known game company that has released one published game. Sure they are "stars" but I doubt they are scammers either.

He isn't promising a 150% ROI by the technical definition of ROI. That would mean he would pay you 150% per year. He is promising you pay you back, plus 50% and that would be the end of it. And he doesn't promise a time frame either. Personally getting 50% of my money back in an undisclosed time frame doesn't really encourage me to invest, I would expect 100% on a risky proposition like this.

Pearl Harbor was a military target so what's the big deal? The Americans did use similar sneak attacks so it's not like Japanese were the only ones.

I think the fact that the US was in no way involved with the war at the time had a lot to do with us being upset.

Jaw-Dropping Graphics – Widescreen gaming support coupled with dazzling special effects provides a beautifully rendered backdrop of the Pacific.

Seriously people give it up. We don't expect "Jaw-Dropping Graphics" from anything but a few high profile games a year. Even then we expect to be disappointed somewhat. So just say what type of texture engine your using and drop the silliness.

The EULA didn't state that the data would be restricted to IP address. This "clarification" then means nothing as they could collect more information at whenever they deem nessesary. They need to publish and official privacy policy if they wish to even slightly get off the hook. This still smells.

Yea I was worried, because a computer dot player could theoretically whip my ass every time. Very surprised and relieved when I won, because I was never played the game much in HS.
