Oh come on, the thought of a court denying slashdot's source code be released, is much funnier.
I'm not saying its a bad idea from a investment standpoint as much as from a personal belief standpoint. I wish there was an easy way to do ad based games without giving a third party so much control. Honestly ad-ware companies have given themselves a bad rap over the years from releasing software that can be very dangerous for your computer. The industry needs to do more self regulation. Until then expect some people to have an issue with it.
On the other hand, being asked to invest in spyware is kinda eww. Sure they may be honest, but its a matter of an SDK that is controlled by a third party that you may not trust.

He isn't promising a 150% ROI by the technical definition of ROI. That would mean he would pay you 150% per year. He is promising you pay you back, plus 50% and that would be the end of it. And he doesn't promise a time frame either. Personally getting 50% of my money back in an undisclosed time frame doesn't really encourage me to invest, I would expect 100% on a risky proposition like this.

The EULA didn't state that the data would be restricted to IP address. This "clarification" then means nothing as they could collect more information at whenever they deem nessesary. They need to publish and official privacy policy if they wish to even slightly get off the hook. This still smells.

Yea I was worried, because a computer dot player could theoretically whip my ass every time. Very surprised and relieved when I won, because I was never played the game much in HS.
