I just want to see an MMO that does not use the Wow Formula. Design your own combat systems. Design your own skill systems. Stop making every MMO exactly the same game with a different skin on it.
Say what you will about Asheron's Call and Everquest, but at least in that era there was a clear distinction between the games.
Yep. Everyone is trying to make a million+ subscriber blockbuster instead of trying to make something cool and unique. You can't make an MMO with a large (by today's standards) subscriber base without watering your shit down to appeal to the casual and the incompetent. If companies were to create more specialized MMO experiences I think they'd find they could get 300-400k extremely loyal subscribers without spending $200 million to develop the thing.
SWTOR is the shining example of how even with 6 years of development, fucktons of money, and an IP a thousand times more popular than Azeroth, making a WoW clone isn't going to be that successful. People who are tired of WoW don't want to play it again, and people who aren't tired of WoW are content to keep playing it. There is no huge market for "WoW, but slightly different."

Wow. Mouse and keyboard controls are too hard? Even indie games get that right. I just have to laugh at these guys.
This stuff was long ago standardized in DirectInput to boot, not supporting it means going out of your way to only use XInput which is essentially pissing on the title. It is pretty trivial to do both - include the silly artwork for prompts and writing some changes to a config file for keybinds is all trivial stuff. This is just extreme laziness, if they won't bother with this very very basic porting stuff then people should have zero confidence in the rest of the port and treat it accordingly at sale time.

Is there a kickstart for this? I'd like to contribute my $60 right now! Oh, and May 2013 sounds like it'll make a great XBox720 launch game ...

I'm running a q9550/gtx280 and am wondering if I can pick up one of the mid range cards like these to stretch out the life of my PC until the new series of consoles hits, game requirements rise, and I do another full system upgrade. I just don't know if the q9550 will bottleneck me too much. Running at 1920x1200.
I run a Phenom II X4 955, which I don't think is much (any?) faster than the q9550, and a Radeon 6870. The Radeon 7850 is a bit faster than the 6870. I feel that my video card is still usually my bottleneck at 1920x1200, so I think a new card would work pretty well for you.
Edit: Just checked some benches. Your q9550 would be a bit faster than my 955, so I'll say that a new card would pretty definitely give you a nice bump.

Love the "ant farm" base. Very cool.
Now just give me a memorial where I can look at former soldiers. I want to see names, missions, charts showing their improvement, how they died, what dates they lasted for, average stat for a new recruit, average stat for a current soldier, average stat for a lost soldier, average lifespan, etc.
