...about Led Zeppelin being nothing but no good satan worshiping music. It relies entirely on how it's sung, as it's not really the words as much as it is the emphasis put on certain parts of them. Just as a test I sung it and then reversed it, and you'd really being stretching things a little to make out those specific words, or any for that matter.

Actually, I think I like the sound better backwards.

It's a good thing it was brought to our attention because someone may have realized what it was and could've taken it and used it," Gossage said.

Oh no!

That would have been terrible because they might of gotten really hungry and then fell asleep on their couch. THANKS FOR MAKING THE WORLD A SAFER PLACE!

You know when you're selling your wifely companionship... at an auction... over the internet, isn't including "No weirdos please" in the description a little hypocritical?

Oy!

Anyone else still just simply shocked that DOOM3 is actually GOLD?

Replace DOOM3 with Duke Nukem Forever and I'll second that.

To quote Grandpa Simpson:

I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me.

And that about sums up what I'm thinking whenever someone starts spouting off about "Back in the day..."

I don't like what's "it", but it's not my place to comment on popular culture as it's not something I keep up with. However, the knowledge that the current generation has the same thing coming to them when they're viewed as being old is statisfaction enough for being told by a whiny little 15 year old dressed like 50-cent that Pink Floyd sucks "deez nuts".

Yes, sweet revenge!

I heard a myth that when you say Derek Smart's name enough times, he'll magically appear!

Holy shit, it worked.

Would you rather see this legacy license fall into the wrong hands?

Too late.

I mean no offense to Derek Smart, but I don't see this as being a move in the positive direction for the Freespace series. I'm sure there's a market for games that require you to earn a Phd only after you've written a 90-page thesis over all 300 volumes of the game manual. You know, as opposed to Falcon 4.0's 400 page manual... nevermind.

Ahh, yes. Lovejoy. While it was indeed a very good show with superb acting, I somehow doubt that a show involving the not-so-exciting underworkings of an english antique dealer - an overly dramatic version of bargain hunt, if you will - is quite the milieu of choice for the average reader of this site. My excuse for liking it, however, is that I am a fruity, fruity bastard.
