Quake Done Quick was one of my most favorite pieces of machinima back in the day.

Well I see the logic behind the potential ghost-town situation Zadig mentions. However, despite all the recent articles about GW2, we really don't know very much about this game at all. I won't join any we're-all-gonna-die bandwagon till I play the game. Just because the level cap is higher does not necessarily mean jumping on-board the WoWClone bandwagon if the games systems are fundamentally different and I get the impression they will be. I also see a lot of benefits to raising the level cap and flattening out the curve.
Finally. I've been waiting on RPG (let's not get into semantics) developers to do this for twenty fucking years.

I support Blizzard. Too bad if people can't escape the real world anymore with their internet asshatery.
I'm buying Starcraft 2.
I'm stunned by your shortsightedness.

This is easily the lamest mutation yet. The gnome makes it EASIER because hordes ONLY ATTACK the guy with the gnome.
They need to give serious thought to future campaign mutations or just not bother doing them. I've been through the campaigns dozens of times and these mutations don't do nearly enough to make them interesting again. I say stick with 8-player mutations.
Or survival, why hasn't there been a mutation for survival?

Asking for this hurts PC gaming. While I would prefer that PC games support as many types of peripherals as possible, I don't like UI's, HUD's, and aiming which is designed to accomodate the limitations of a gamepad unless the game is best played with a gamepad such as an action sports title or a vehicular combat game. Since development resources are usually limited, PC gamers can't have it both ways. We can't get titles designed to accomodate the extended functionality of a PC and also expect a simplified console game for the relative few who want that. So, given the choice between a quick-and-dirty console port designed for a gamepad and a game designed for a PC's keyboard and mouse, I would prefer the latter.
So, if you want to play a PC FPS game with a gamepad, use one of the keyboard and mouse emulation utilities that come with some gamepads or a third-party one like Xpadder.

No released server code and no mods = no better than IW.
I love how EA touted their 'we have dedicated servers' crap when IW said MW2 would not have them only to screw us in the ass with this announcement.
I guess LAN parties are dead as well.

Political what?!? Man turns into prawn, gets fucked over by everyone, then gets revenge with an array of awesome guns and a mech suit.
The other thing that makes me wonder is how Steam detects *PHYSICAL* CPU's. It says that 56.93% have 2 CPU's. I find that hard to believe.
