It won't be successful unless they release very popular games conclusive on it, like Lord of the Ring 2, or new C&C game!

That's great, seems most developers dropped this feature! But not all.

HL Quake 1 mod, Counter-Strike, That Tron-like game, constant community support like the editing/mod site

some of these mods were cash money for Valve and that’s the only reason they adapt them, and the open policy is the reason for these mods existence.

You won’t believe how many games I got half of their original price after 5-6 moths of their release date, and that’s other than $20-$30 range for games people bought and didn’t like so they sold for lower price after 2 week to one month of their release.

The whole thing about steam is controlling customer of what he’s permitted to do and what’s not, if you’re happy with that I can’t argue with you coz there’s no point, but I don’t like being controlled … by anyway.

Few years ago we were able to play CS11 – CS15 at LAN parties with a lot of joy, now it’s pain in ass to play CS16 or CSS and HL2DM thanks to steam, but we managed to get around it anyhow.

Wow, many people that are really happy of what happened!

To all those Valve fans…. Get ready your Internet connection every time you want to play and your credit card every new stuff released.

And yeah about these fixed prices, I can’t afford HL2 until its $20, now when that’s going to happen?

2) Isnt that the Laser Lock (or something like that) ability they have? Nothing wrong with it IMO.

It's a bug and it's completely wrong! You can't produce it anytime you want, and when it happen just get 15 or 20 Hax soldiers and finish the game. It's stronger and have more range, fire rate, and no time limit vs. laser lock attack.

After playing 10 min with ROE it start to shutter and after 20 min it become unplayable coz of heavy shuttering, but when I exit and run the game again it plays perfectly normal except that the whole thing will start again after 10 min… anyone have this problem or is it related with Audigy?

Hope they fix it on v1.3

I just finished the game after about 24 hours, the graphics are really great, weapons and monsters are remake from the original doom but 2 things I didn’t like:

1- The game is short!
2- Hell levels are too dark (especially you don’t have the flash light), too small, and there’s only 2 of them… damn I was looking to get more fun in hell.

One thing for sure, the game is SCARY.

You people didn’t learn *NOT* to buy latest pc hardware yet? Can anyone tell me what was the different between GF4Ti4200 $200 and GF4Ti4600 $400 back then, and even when you look at it right now both cards ran games until now really good, my old GF4Ti4200 even faster than GF FX 5700 at FarCry with medium quality.

Do you think now is another story? Well, let’s take 9800XT or GF FX5950 $500, they’re both got nailed by the GF6800 128MB $300 even with their 256MB junk. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that we don’t need 512MB card, I’m saying not buy it right away.

If you want a good card for today games companies always release different models of their new generation at different prices, just be smart and you can find where the most reasonable deal is.

Ps: don’t forget there’s new PCI-Express and 512MB cards coming, all these today new shiny cards now will become absolute in no time.

Hey Derek,

I’ll decide if I’m going to buy FS3 or not after I read some reviews, so you can go ahead and start making the game.

Let’s see what kind of talent you got behind your ego and leader ship personality.
