9. Alternate download option Feb 22, 2007, 09:00 BMT

This page has direct d/l links to the client split into 650MB chunks and hosted on their web servers. I'm sure they'd prefer you to use their download manager (which caps your speed @ 300KB/s, IIRC) or get it from a torrent. This was a MUCH faster download for me, though (3000 - 4000KB/s).

Ofcourse, those cocksucking cunts at Atari will never understand that.

You might not make a very good diplomat but I certainly think you hit the nail on the head.

I've really been looking forward to this game. After playing through the demo, I still like it but I don't like the fact that I had to install the AGEIA PhysX driver even though I don't have a PhysX card. Also, like a lot of games, the voice-overs leave a little something to be desired, too. It looks to be a pretty good game overall, though.

"And remember boys and girls, that game you bought, its not a beta....."

Well, that's certainly true. When I bought BF2 (the day it was released), it was more like an alpha than a beta!

"will it allow torture and humiliation of prisoners as is customery of us foreign policy?"

It's likely that you owe your freedom to make statements like this to someone who was willing to fight and die to ensure that freedom. So why don't you go to Iraq, pick up a weapon and stand opposed if you feel that strongly about it? Or do you intend to improve the matter by sitting in the safety of your home and trolling message boards?
