Hmm, 60 is pretty young. I'll be interested to hear the cause of death. He should have had the money for good medical care.

Jennifer Lawrence is 22?? What? (checks Wikipedia, she is 25)

Why would she give her wrong age in an interview?...wtf??

Reading it, it's possible she was talking in the past tense. ie. indicating when she started getting a little too obsessive about Goggling herself. Or she might be like me. My entire life when asked my age I have generally needed to calculate it. It is something I simply never cared or thought about much.

What I am trying to say is it just doesn't matter, it is meaningless.

A far more interesting question to me is why the footballs were handled this way at all. Each team providing footballs used only by their offense. It's crazy. It was begging for something like this to happen.

At this point, they should allow every possible type of cheating in the NFL. If Brady and the Patriots are considered innocent, why have rules?

Like they say in baseball, "If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying." Deflategate is nothing more than the NFL (supported by multiple teams) attempting to punish the Patriots for either not getting hit hard enough for Spygate or for winning too much. Take your pick.

Even if Brady told the equipment guys to reduce the inflation of the footballs. The fact that it didn't help Brady's performance kind of nullifies most of the reason for any discipline.

And no, I am not a New England fan, I'm Dallas fan (I know, I know) but I see nothing here that really bothers me. It is much ado about nothing.

I don't believe I've every had eggplant. I just lumped it in with squash and zucchini which I don't care for. Was that unfair?

Saw The Prestige this weekend. It remained the only Christopher Nolan film I haven't seen. What an amazing film. It's starts off slow but it builds up to an amazing and mind-blowing ending. Even more amazing is all clues you need to know how the film will end is presented in front of your eyes but you don't see it because that's part of the "illusion".
Yes, an excellent film. Highly overlooked.

China is roughly the size of the continental US with 4 times the population.
Well, yes and no -- if you include Alaska which obviously is mostly unpopulated. But your point is well taken. Hell, there are plenty of people walking the streets of the US I'd like to run down with my car.

As someone else said, a very nice demonstration of how the speed of light is nearly meaningless against the distances of space, even just within our solar system. Interstellar space is so large it is difficult to actually conceive of it.

No one knows if we will ever be able to fold, warp, or whatever the space-time continuum. I certainly hope we will. And it is the greatest disappointment in my life that I will not live to see it.

I could understand them being burnt out. But they shouldn't be thinking about trying to compete with D3. What they should be doing is concentrating on working on a game they have fun playing. Do what you love and let the chips fall where they may.

I played for 6.5 years and loved it. For me, the only reason to go back would be the reason which kept me there the last 18 months I played -- having a good group to spend time with.

Actually, I tried -- but it was too over the top for me. I don't find "stupid" as funny as so many others seem to. I understand the point though.

I won't lie -- I didn't read a lot of this and frankly I don't particularly care. I just wanted to stop by and say, it has to be better than talking about SC reaching their latest funding goal.

Stories like this just make me so tired. I realize people have been saying the end of the world is coming for hundreds if not thousands of years -- but reading stories make me wonder if we can survive the next few decades. Assuming we survive until then, I'd love to take a history class on the first half of this century a couple of hundred years from now.
