Perhaps some of you found the controls weird because they're tied to skills? One thing I didn't like was the flight controls for choppers and planes. I was using my gamepad and it was still a PITA flying around. And the guns on choppers need to track targets on the ground. Otherwise I didn't have a problem with them.

The chopper controls were worse than cancer. Seriously, worst control scheme ever, some keys can't be rebound, and it's really RNG flying.

Come on Slick they were not as bad as your say they were. and yea, I ran into a few keys that I was not able to rebind. the INSERT, HOME,PgUp,PgDn,Del,End keys. that irritated me to no end, Im a lefty and I use that side of the keyboard. so I did post this to the m and reported it.

It was <$42 in late December on GMG (30% off), which is where I bought it, a price I consider...acceptable.

Gamers Gate has it on sale to. the Gold edition for $77

All version are on sale there.

Those guns on the helo are stationary, no way you can have them track a target. I didn't have much trouble with flying the Helo, it was the plane that took a lot of getting used to. One sudden moment in the wrong direction would put you in a nose dive.

If the beta's any indication, 1440p is not stable at all, even with top end hardware. I was playing smoothly at 40-60 FPS at 1080p with an FX-6350 and a GTX 970, myself.

Not sure what your issues were, but I didn't run into any. I'm running on GTX 1080 FTW on a 4K 28" monitor 2840 x 2160 had an average of 38 to 42 FPS.

Had the graphics at maximum, with vsync turned off on game, but turned on in the control panel. I thought that wasn't bad considering there are no optimized drivers out yet for the game.

Other Then that I had a really great time playing the game Coop. Ran into a few small bugs but nothing ground breaking.

Drive was a bit of a challenge at the start, but we eventually got the hang of it. but yes, that definitely needs some work. Hopefully that will get fixed. No issues with gun play, in fact I thought the gun play was very similar to The Division.

I bought the Gold Edition, I really liked what I saw and played. The open world was pretty impressive looking. Cant wait to see the rest of the game.

Why in all holy hell they decided to use the 40k Inquisitor concept to make a diablo-clone, is just beyond all comprehension.

Because 10 years ago everyone was making a WOW clone.

So, is this a top down like Diablo? I didn't notice that when I saw the video, I thought it was more of an FPS type game.

If so, im defiantly interested. Plus how can you go wrong with 4 players Coop?

Every video I've seen of it is 3/4 isometric. You might be thinking of 'Spacehulk:Deathwing'

No, I own Deathwing, thats a good game too. I never saw the 3/4 view videos. just those other ones they showed off. But now after seeing that one. It does look interesting.

Hope we can turn off WGM. I don't need another performance hit beyond the ones already occurring in Windows 10. My least favorite is the Draconian updates downloading whenever regardless of what I'm doing. I can't stop this, but I know it's going on according to Resource Monitor. Very annoying.

Sure you can stop it, by uninstalling that POS OS and re-installing Windows 7. Problem solved!

Blizz is always inflating their numbers. 25M people could have watched a new TV show, but that doent mean those same 25M are still watching. So that doesn't make it a popular TV show if those same 25 drop off. Which I think is the case for over-watch. Not to say they dont have a large following, I just think blizz likes to inflate the Numbers like their arrogant ego.

That encouraging considering it received pretty underwhelming praise at E3. Glad to hear good experiences with it.

Take it with a grain of salt. Half Elf goes for anything with hunks in plaid.

You show me a guy with a beard, military training and knee pads and I'll show ya one happy Half Elf!

That being said. If all you see is Far Cry then that's all you'll see. If anything I'd say this is more The Division (different story and skills of course), set on a much bigger scale with vehicles (and less Dark Zone if any).
What really appeals to me is two things. 1) 4 player co-op (which was a blast with a team all on the same page as in Assassin's Creed Unity), and 2) I can stealth the entire mission (granted probably only in co-op).

As I said the Beta will be 'the tell', but to get a 4 person team and literally GHOST an entire mission will be the high bar for me.

Now Elf, lets not forget the most important part if your going ot compare it to The Division. No Bullet Sponging. Thats what sets this apart from Division and much more.

THANK YOU OBAMA!!! Edward Snowden should have been on that list.

President Obama will be known as one of the greatest Presidents in the history of the United States and drumpf will be nothing but an ugly forgotten footnote.

Snowden fled to Russia.

Sigh...

Isn't it amazing how misinformed a lot of people are.

Instead of 'The US revoked his passport while he was in transit to Ecuador, leaving him stuck in Russia' becomes 'He fled to Russia'.

But to be fair, with the mainstream media's purpose apparently being misinforming people - it shouldn't be surprising. Right?

Did he take refuge? Yes. Was his final destination Russia? Not originally, but yes, it was. Very accurately, he fled to Russia. He fled. He ended up in Russia. That is, by definition, fleeing to Russia. Who is harboring him. He is unwilling to come home and face trial, whereas Manning did face trial, and that's the huge difference between the two.

I also enjoy that:

1) I said I like Snowden

2) I said I would like the charges dropped

3) You guys keep ignoring that Obama legally can't pardon someone that hasn't been convicted federally
No matter how you want to spin it, It's clearly you who is not "getting" this, Russia was never Snowden's destination. He got stranded there almost persona not grata when his passport was revoked.

Ford pardoned Nixon, Obama can pardon Snowden (and should have). jdreyer already spelled it out, this ain't rocket surgery http://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/will-obama-pardon-edward-snowden-233658

He didn't, and you didn't.

First off, it hardly matters where Snowden was traveling. Or where he ended up. You guys are hyperfocusing on that. What matters is that he ran. Manning didn't. I don't know how many of you have kids, but if your kid did something bad and owned up to it, wouldn't you punish him differently than if he ran? In the legal system, this happens all the time. In humanity, this happens all the time. It's easier to forgive those who admit they did something that may be in need of forgiving.

Second off, you're right. You need to be convicted to ask for a pardon, but not receive it. I was incorrect there.

In that case, my argument remains only to those (none of whom are here) who claim that there was some kind of ulterior motive for pardoning Manning, not Snowden. In reality, I think it just comes down to Manning actually taking responsibility and Snowden not.
Snowden quote about why he is in Russia
"The reality is I never intended to end up in Russia," he said. "I had a flight booked to Cuba onwards to Latin America and I was stopped because the United States government decided to revoke my passport and trap me in Moscow airport.”

"So when people ask why are you in Russia, I say, 'Please ask the State Department,'” he added.
Where it looks like he will be for many more years.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/18/world/europe/edward-snowden-asylum-russia.html

Regardless, President Obama should have pardoned him.

Russia doesn't matter. What matters is he ran.

And yes, he should be pardoned, but acting like his situation and Manning's is identical, which many, many people are doing, is insane.

You people are some of the stupidest people I have ever seen, Treason is treason, there is no grey line. When you release classified information to a foreign govt and entity. that is treason.

When you are a serving member of the US Govt or Military, you do not have the same rights as the standard citizen. You give up those rights, you also sign a document when working for any Govt stating so and also outlining your rights. You are especially accountable for any act of Treason such as these two people did. Those crimes are punishable by death. This POS Manning caused the deaths of people because of his actions. theirs no excusing that, none at all!!

This act from Obama is nothing more then him thumbing his nose at the America public and the incoming president. this is him lighting dumpster fires on his way out and Its bullshit, you all need to evaluate your moral compass because its way the fuck out of alignment.
