how people can digest Cryteks crap once theyve played CoD4To each their own... I have never liked the CoD series. The first Medal of Honour game for the PC was great but after that, and now with CoD, those games have been pure "meh". CoD series is like Britney Spears of games.
Crysis is a much better game than CoD 4. The gameplay style of Crysis really appeals to me. Crysis Firefights™ are always so awesome.
The new countdown timer is for the opening of the official game site. The site will open just in time before the Leipzig Games Convention 2008.

i wonder if the optimizations in warhead will automatically apply to crysis if installed on the same systemThat will not be the case. It remains to be seen if the Warhead optimizations and enhancements will get implemented to Crysis later on via patch. Crytek has told it maybe could happen. Time will tell.

This is a really good game. Took me by surprise, really.
Trials 2 SE is VERY challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it and manage to complete a course with a smooth run and a high-ranked time you feel like a million bucks. This is a game for the Real Men™ out there: it requires lots of time, patience, determination and pure skill, but it's oh so rewarding \m/
The last time I felt like this about a racing game was in the end of 2003 when TrackMania arrived and invaded my mind and my soul.

Who the heck pre-orders a game when the amount of games actually worth buying for is rapidly decreasing year after year? Lots of people are talking about how PC gaming is dying and some how console gaming is dying but the truth is that quality gaming is dying, regardless of platform...

It is supposed to show a real scene in comparison to the ray traced one.I don't think the FC2 clip is ray-traced at all. To me the article seems to be just a misunderstanding, of sorts.

If I remember correctly the system requirements for Alan Wake put Crysis to shame.For recommended; quad-core (+ Vista) is not so bad, especially if the game is getting its release 1 year from now, or near the end of 2008.
Anyways... it has always been like this in PC world, has been for at least 15 years. Top dollar recommended system requirements for an AAA title is nothing new.

Well, while Gothic 3 is not the best in the series, it is definitely worth buying. I didn't encounter that many bugs in it. I guess it depends on how you play the game. There were a few annoying ones, though.
In fact, I was in love and married with the game for a long time. But now our ways have separated. But I'm sure we'll meet again.
Needless to say that I await RPB with great eagerness.
