The Aerons have a super long or life time warranty, don't they? I got mine from my dad after he retired and no longer needed two. Mine is the C (largest) size, of course. It definitely helps with my back and I can tell the difference if I sit in a regular chair for only a few days to a week. A healthier back is worth the money.

This is where I get to point out that I had called the release date/time within hours, over 6 weeks in advance on the Quaaaaaaaaaaake contest page. Also, this tree has a lot more rings now.

Thanks for the tip! I had just downloaded new drivers yesterday (dated 5/2) in anticipation of playing Doom. Fortunately, I saw this post before I installed those. Downloading now.

Qtest is 20! We're so old. I think it was just the month before that I upgraded to a Pentium 166MHz, for an obscene amount of money. Just in time for Qtest though!

I kind of figured that was the special thing. I am envious, but I am going to a free screening tonight at 7, courtesy of my friend and their vendor (which also happens to be one of our work vendors), plus another time on Friday with tickets I got when they became available. Glad to hear you were not disappointed.

I got mine for an independent theater with big, power recliners and Dolby Atmos sound for the 18th. It was one of the few websites not down.

There are some coffees that taste pretty "earthy." Maybe that's what they're going for?

The annoying thing about the HR-V SLF is their press release for it is dated March 31st. It was clearly a joke, but I think April Fools pranks should be dated April 1st, not March 31st. It's not called End of March Fools.

I had a weird visual glitch with one type of grenade, but I had a great time other than that. I did not have any glitchy netcode and the feel of the guns/control was the best I've felt in any Battlefield game I can recall. I did find the Heist mode a bit confusing at first, but that might have just been me. I loved Hotwire mode, and the fact that they have music in cars now. I just wish there were more classic songs on there (like The Clash), but that's a minor complaint. I loved blasting music when driving by in Battlefield Vietnam, so I'm glad to see it make somewhat of a comeback. I also enjoyed hanging out the side of the car to shoot at the other vehicles. Bonus: A lot more running down enemies that are on foot than in most BF games heh.

I still remember heading over to Floppy Joe's Software RENTAL in College Station, seeing the shareware Doom on display (which had just come out), going back to my dorm, getting floppies, then going back to get a copy of the shareware to play. Rockin' on the 386-33MHz. Good times!

Wow, I was so busy yesterday that I missed Green Monday. I must have missed any announcement of it beforehand. I missed a couple of deals better than I'd seen to date. Oh well, I was working, which gets me money to pay for said deals.

RIP John Lennon. Also, it's weird to think I'm now older than he ever got to be.

Rip Ralph Baer as well. Him being as old as he was makes me feel even older.

We have had Oxford comma discussions at work. Most of us fell on the side of favoring it.

Thanks, Blue! I am now the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. In other words, just a sapling.

Funny, our leaves in north Texas just started falling off trees in the last couple weeks and really just starting to collect this week.

We have a new dog, but still sad about the passing of our old one a couple years ago. Our new dog stalks my turtle that lives in the office. Considering she licked her chops when I took the turtle out for a bath, I think she'd eat her if she could get a hold of her.

Ahhh, .plan files. The Twitter of its day. Good times! I'm glad John Carmack is on Twitter. I missed his updates, even though some of his technical tweets go right over my head.
