Simply put - LFS is amazing, I prefer it to all other race sims including GTR FIA, etc... The best part about the game is the online racing community - its huge. Check out http://www.lfsworld.net/ for more info re online play.

Give the demo a try - only like 128 megs or something, and it runs on almost any computer.

Wow shit.. I didnt know it worked like that. So I have the regular box retail copy which was bought for me on Christmas. You're telling me that when DOD comes out, I won't be able to play it because I didn't order the "Gold" package? I thought the whole point of steam is that you can just pay for add-on's etc.. and just download them..? I don't think we should even pay for mod's. Mod's are supposed to be free. Is Valve making the mod now or is it still the original guys?

Anyways, on a side note, thanks to whoever posted that mod yesterday - that thing is fun. If anyone missed that link:
