I think Rome: Total War is already too expanded as it is now. I wish they made an "impansion" for this game, as half way in the campaign the micromanagement gets repetitive and boring (keeping track on all the taxes, buildings, revolts, special units, fleet, barbarians etc in so many provinces during one turn is just mind numbing drudgery).

Their jaws dropped to the ground probably because of how crazy the concept sounds, not because they assumed the game would be great. Same for the previous games, it was hard not to get excited hearing about their concept - hence all the so called hype.
No wonder the offer has not yet been accepted, it takes some time to understand this sort of texts.
