I was referring to Shadowrun Returns being a bonus, rather than people already having MW. :p
Be more specific next time, please!

I feel like everyone who would be interested in this probably has it ...
Nobody has it, it isnt out yet
And i dont pre-order. Release day purchase or a few days later (when i have time to play) is more than enough.

Given that I KS'd the damn thing, do I get a free copy of Shadowrun?
No, only our deepest gratitude for backing this fine piece of game. Thank you!

News Comments > Valve Addresses Steam Machines
1. Re: Skyrim Creation Club Launches with Survival Mode Apr 4, 2018, 11:11 Kajetan

Tech alone does not sell. You keep on supporting Vulkan, which is nice, but it WILL NOT BOOST Linux as gaming platform or the usage of SteamOS.

Valve has to invest in MARKETING Linux or SteamOS as a gaming platform. When nobody knows what you have, why should it become more popular?

Consider it's an entirely different entity that owns it now, one that never made a dime off the first release, and considering it's currently dead IP they're not trying to draw new players towards, I'd say it's going to be $19.99 for all.
Considering that THQ Nordic gave a free copy of TQ Anniversary or the two Darksiders remasters to every owner of the vanilla versions on Steam ... my guess is each owner of the "old" RFG will receive this remaster for free.

Apparently people love it for some of the multiplayer?
People loved it for the extensive modding community and especially the addon "Hordes of the Underdark", which is THE best addon for a RPG ever.

Was anyone clamoring for this? Besides a great toolset, what else did it have going for it?
The one good thing with this, erm, Remaster ... full compatibility with all (!) old mods and modules. Which is quite nice. So to speak.

Still, too expensive for me right now. 10 bucks would be my sweet spot.

While the original can be a slight pain in the ass on modern Windows systems, still, 20 bucks? And then not even all of the old Premium modules? The complete set only available via Day-One-DLCs? For whopping 40 bucks alltogether?

I dont know ...

About the only thing I really liked about NWN (besides Underdark) was how powerful you could get as a monk.
The Monk class was sooooo overpowered. Thankfully NWN1 wasnt a MP game. It is ok, when you could rock a SP world with some classes better than with others

Why they are hell bent on putting more time into this hot mess and not NWN2 is perplexing.
Because NWN1 has a lot of problems on modern operating systems, Vanilla-NWN2 is perfectly playable and still looks gorgeous?

My other huge gripe is all the SHIT software on Steam these days. I'm not saying Valve needs to review every single title under the sun, but something has to be done.
Why? Funny thing is ... as a normal customer you dont see this crap. Its so invisible to you, it might be not be on Steam at all.

A strong blue item can be far more valuable to a build than a higher level legendary. Heck, some green rings are worth wearing just for the resistance boosts.
Often enough you might want to wear specific "yellow" items, because their values fit perfect to the current boss fight requirements and your chosen strategy, where you want to push on specific number as high as possible.

This looks pretty darn good!
It also plays like the old BUILD shooters. The maps however ... holy crap, my old Pentium would have exploded immediately. And i got lost pretty quick. No linear script event tube, a giant map where you can move around freely, see secrets, dont get to secrets, look for ways to get to secrets, despair, try to find the next key, despair, find the way to a secret, rejoice ... yeah, this might be a good one.

Why remaster.. this?
Because of modern console hardware. EA will market this remaster to the owners of a One X or a PS4 Pro.

I liked the book, but it was written for me and my specific experiences of growing up in the 70s and 80s ( a 2112 planet?? Hell yah!).
Also grewing up in this decade ... i found the book was trying too hard on nostalgia. Or i am tired of nostalgia. Which is probably the case. Yeah, 70s, 80s, big deal! *yawn*

"Stranger Things" on the other hand, was quite good because it wasnt trying to push THIS IS THE 80s!! LIKE IT!!!! in my face all the time. They just showed the 80s.

I wish these "neo"-Fallout's focused more on better rpg elements like the originals rather than the newest trends of stuffing in obnoxious crafting and loot collecting, combined with the janky game engine they use.
Please, stop hoping and wishing

Bethesda-RPGs are selling extremely well with the current game and world design formula. Beth will not change anything at all unless sales are plummeting, which they arent.
