That number doesn't include SSD...which seems like it makes those numbers meaningless except to people who own HDD factories.

The shit ending of 3 doesn't change the fact that for 99.9% of the trilogy it was telling great stories. It did suck all the wind out of me wanting to play again but I'm not much on replaying games anyway. The entire 3rd game was wrapping up the stories and it did them all incredibly well. I do get why it's what people remember most tho.

If the last bite of pie has poo in it, you ain't gonna remember how awesome the rest was.

That's not the actual use for that portion of the chopsticks, it's just where they are clamped when getting milled.

I tested it at 1080 and very high pegs my card at max VRAM usage, 4gb with stutter, high drops it to 3gb.

I dunno what those sites were doing to get such low VRAM usage.

A quick FYI, very high textures requires 6gb vram.

This is the best Tomb Raider yet. They left in the annoying QTEs but this time the buttons are not random, they always make sense for what the button does outside of the events.

It's also an excellent port, it runs great and has all the graphics options I want to be able to mess with.

Well worth the 40 bucks I payed on G2A.

No big surprise that all that talk about using "practical models" was complete B.S.

It was not. Everything the actors handled and used was a real prop. They didnt' mean they would be using claymation instead of computer special effects.

This bullshit never happens. A bunch of people waving their swords around pretending to fight something not there.

This stuff did happen. They almost never shot outside of a studio in the prequels. I think only tatooine on episode 1 had any significant real life outdoor shots, episode 3 had zero.

The game is complicated and has a steep learning curve, but since it's 4 years old the wiki is completely filled out.

You can't just compare this to the 100 dollar price of prime vs other game discounts. It's just part of the prime package.

If you only care about discounts, then Prime is a bad deal. Paying for discounts is always a bad deal. Now, if you're interested in streaming a limited selection of music, movies and TV shows, Prime might be more worthwhile and the discounts would just be a bonus.

I agree, purchasing a hamburger is a bad way to get cheese.

Lots of stuff

Plan on seeing it soon, but a few questions.

So you're saying they should have bagged an Hamill, Fisher, & Ford and just run with an all new cast? That was my original contention. It will be interesting to see how they're integrated.

Also, you weren't impressed by the music? Isn't the music from this mashup from The Force Awakens? It gave me chills.

Plot holes, unfortunately, are a hallmark of Abrams movies. Hope they're not Prometheus or Into Darkness level ruinous.

As for too much homage to the original, this is why I despised Jurassic world earlier this year. Hopefully it's not too bad.

Remember, Disney bought this franchise from a desire to do good. But through them it wields a power too great and terrible to imagine...

Oh, wait. Wrong franchise reference. Never mind.

I enjoyed the film but I'm a fan of Abram's movies, Star Trek 09 is one of my favorite movies. This movie isn't as good as that one but it's pretty good. If you're an Abrams hater, yeah he made this movie in his style, so there won't be any pleasing you.

It's essentially a retelling of A New Hope. I like it in spite of that but it's a real mark against it in my book. However, I've always been a character over story guy and this has great characters.

The music in that trailer is mostly rehashed original scores. Williams hasn't produced anything memorable since the 90's and it's no different here. The only good parts of the score are when he's remixing his old stuff. It's not a bad score, like most Zimmer crap, it's just not memorable.

I like the originals but don't consider them great like so many fans do.

Who would be you preferred director for Star Wars? Just curious.

I hated Into Darkness but I think that was less his direction and more the script. I'd love to see a Star Wars movie directed by Rian Johnson or Alphonse Cuaron.

You know Rian Johnson is signed on to direct 8 yes?

Meanwhile, the US military budget still gobbles up half of the entire federal budget ( probably a LOT more if you include the black projects ).

Why do people say this? It's usually between 15-20% of the budget. Discretionary spending is only some of the Federal budget.

This is that same fucking piece of shit that literally DISSOLVES IN SALT WATER

We bitch a lot at the F-35 fiasco, deservedly, but what the Navy is doing is 100% as retarded. Littoral combat ships that have little to no shred of self defense, concurrency shit on our carriers which has caused us to be short on carriers, etc.

You'd think there'd be SOMEONE with half a brain cell in the military SOMEWHERE?

That's why you prototype equipment, to find flaws. The cathodic protection was not installed for some reason. It's an easy fix. That editorial you linked is from some jackass who couldn't spend a few minutes researching this type of corrosion.
