That's odd. I have never used any other gamepads previously on my new computer (which I built myself, so I would know). Yet the game still couldn't recognize.

This is great. Now I know that the game does support my Master of Thrust but somehow it can't detect it.

Just great.

Cyski, I thought this pad is plug and play. I don't recall installing any drivers for it. Normally I would just plug it into USB port and it'd start working. I know it works because I play MAME old console games.

My pad didn't come with the game though. I bought it separately before the game came out. I can imagine the controls/camera being more bearable with a gamepad, but then again, I don't think the PC version supports that many gamepads in the first place. That's why I had no choice but to suffer with a keyboard and mouse.

I have a Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Analog 3, and the game couldn't recognize it...so ya, I ended up beating the game with keyboard/mouse. Control is a bit sluggish using this setup, but the real killer is the camera angle during combat. It just felt like I was battling the camera more than those freaks that kept spawning. No I do not want to see the Prince facing me. I want the third person view (like in Max Payne) during combat--to turn around and run away any time I want.

Instead the Prince was trying to face the enemies the entire time. I can't really describe the problem...it was just too frustrating for me.

Ya, I eventually tolerated the camera angle. Problem is, I was done with the game by then. Too late...

I don't see how they can leave out time-rewinding. That's the most useful power in the game. Then again, if they'll allow us to save anywhere in the PC version, then there's no need to rewind time.

Ubi, please take your time and make the camera angle better this time (especially in combat). This game is great, but I recall cursing out loud throughout the entire game because of the camera angle.

Ya, I find it funny that the claim is coming out of EA's mouth. Since when does EA wanna take the extra time to make a less buggy game? Heh, release it now and you'll still earn millions.

A game is ready when it ready only if that game is called Duke Nukem Forever.

"Products that are of poor taste shouldn't come to market."

Why so? That should be determined by the consumers. If products have really poor taste, sales will be bad. Not so with GTA.

Doesn't matter if GTA is "such a reprehensible game." If it's M-rated, then parents shouldn't be buying it for their kids. That's why that big fuckin' M is there for.

Lieberman is saying Rockstar Games "ought to be more responsible." I love this line. So it's the company's and not the parents' responsibility? Since when?

No doubt this game is not suitable for children, but that doesn't make Rockstar responsible for irresponsible parents.

Wasn't he also the one who was opposing SOF back then?

Either way, his shit is REALLY filling up; hence, he REALLY needs to go.

Right on the spot, Creston

Warren needs to know that it will not take that many shitty games to bring down his fame. If Thief 3 ends up to be crap, then all his reputation gets flushed down the toilet together with it also.

Making Thief 3 kickass is very critical to your career, Warren.
