I love FPS games- war games and shoot um up games, but the market is flooded with games that require you to shoot. I'm starting to miss the good old days of gaming. I wish Nintendo would make another Mario game worth playing and not that sunshine shit. Anyways just hoping the good old days will return and Nintendo will give me a good platformer that doesn't requre a AK-47 or a rocket launcher

I'm looking foward to playing this game Tomm, the demo was fun but the game was kinda hard. I'm hoping for the best I just Got the new Splinter Cell game Pandora TOMM, and i have to say the Multiplayer portion of the game is TOP notch. It's a new innovation in multiplayer games, i havent had this much fun since Battlefield- To sum it up- its a game of cat and mouse that you won't forget.

Unreal 2004 takes forever to load, Battlefield Vietam is suffering from jerky play and weird pixelation.(all of hope it will be fixed with a patch? Far Cry which I hear needs a super system to run on (3GHZ Pentium 4, 1GB ram, and a 9800pro-to run the thing pretty) Seems my Pentium 2GHZ 512 Ram and 9700 pro can't play todays games with all the bells and whistles on Is It time to ugrade to a new system? should I buy more ram? perhaps a faster video card? With doom 3 hopefully around the corner and Half-life 3 approaching soon it's time to make major choices I cannot make by myself? How is everyone else coping with the drastic need for more power to run their games?

I can't wait to see what they are going to do this time around. Hopefully play from the the dark side starting off? KOTOR was one of the best games, I hope it the next one is better.

I also experienced graphical glithes with the Far Cry Demo- and currently with BF:Vietnam. I have a Ati 9700 pro. I wonder were all these problems are coming from? Is it a Driver issue in the game or in the catlyst Drivers? Is ATI slipping with support or are these game deveopers making boo boo's?

At least Unreal 2004 runs smoothly in Multiplay. Battlefield Vietnam has serious Multiplayer bugs (LAG) and Graphic Corruptions. The game should of never of shipped in the state it is in. Every server I tried playing the game on is very laggy. I'm upset at Dice for releasing the game at this state, but I now think the game was launched this soon to steal some of Unreal 2004's thunder. I know Vietnam will sell better - but it shouldn't have been released this early in the state it is in. It's a great game, but it's gonna need many patches and many more maps before it can be considered perfect. ERRR!!!

The game is running sorta choppy and when the shadows are turned on the graphic glithes are unbearable. I have a 9700 Pro anyone recommend what driver verion works best or how to fix this? It's an amazing game no doubt, but just shipped a bit too soon. But Patches will fix this. IM going to install Unreal 2004 now- Hope to frag u guys soon

I'm picking this one up along with BF:Vietnam, The game seems to be better then the 2003 version, getting rid of the announcers voice was a start I have high hopes for the game, but im afraid I will end up playing more of Vietnam the week both games launch... The April 15th date has been on EB games website for quite some time now. The game is ready to go, or close to it. There was the announcement on Gamespot last week that mysteriously went away. I'm thinking there is some NDA (non-disclousure-agreement) going round and Gamespot posted it too soon, then realized it had to be taken down. Nvidia's NV40 is all set to ship with the new graphics card get the game(doom3) for free deal. It has to be done to make ATI look bad, considering it has yet to see the release of Half-Life 2. New Nvidia card buyers will be able to benefit to get their free game on time, where ATI card buyers have to wait for hell to freeze over when Half-Life 2 ships. It's all buisness, but I have ESP that Doom 3 will indeed ship next month. Or I am off and it will not. But i don't think ID wants to bring DOOM 3 to the E3 show for a 3RD time.. That would do no justice for the game..

will get BFV for sure, but its going to be interesting to see if I enjoy it as much as BF1942. The one thing that keeps bringing me back to BF1942 is the air to air and air to ground combat...specifically with the WW2 planes, it's just a halla lot of fun.
