With Quake IV, Raven has shown that the Doom 3 engine can handle large environment rendering without any problems

Yeah, I totally agree, the article is brilliant. id´s time is over, they still live in the 90s. Indoor-FPS´ are dead, and that´s good. And there must be a reason why the Doom 3 engine has been licensed just a few times...
