[/IRONY] And I remember my char being so ridiculously similar to my affliction warlock that I found myself hitting keys for skills I didn't have in Rift.
Its not a Wow clone.
It gets so old seeing every single mmo called a wow clone when wow was not even the first mmo of its kind.
Rift is not even remotely a wow clone. Neither are most of the other mmos made and released since wow.

So we are not going to have to listen eight hours of techno graphics driver memory utilization texture swapping storageCarmack knows so much, and unlike so few engine developers is willing to share it and is articulate enough to do so effectively.

sigh, the good ol bf4 hate-train, gotta love it
trying my best to ignore the baiting, let's just say this, that a "high frequency bubble" is a cool idea. i don't care what game implements it, it seems like a high tech solution to a complex problem. now in the back of my head, i'm thinking that this will over-complicate things, and more stuff will break as a cause of it, but that's progress for ya, gotta think big.
and please for the love of god stop comparing BF4 to counterstrike. there's a LARGE difference between calculating 12 player's hitscan weapons in a 400 sq meter map and calculating 64 player's every bullet, the trajectory and flight-path in real-time, across 4 square kilometers. oh and vehicles. oh and destruction, oh and a dynamic water mesh. ALL SERVERSIDE.
2 VERY different simulations going on. keeping what you think of the quality of the games aside, accept that you're comparing 2 very different engines. call bf4 a hunk of junk all you want, but don't convince yourselves cause "just because counterstrike can do it" means they're doing the same thing. one is doing one hell of a lot more, over the same networks.

The thousands of people still playing Modern Warfare will not like this![]()
Modern Warfare didn't use GameSpy, so it will be fine.
