For a web-based they did a good job, and 'cumbersome' interface is the one found in every other game trying to amass all what Battlelog does within the game... so you don't even have the time to check stuff between games.
Yeah, it is. Have you tried playing BF4? Web based browser POS, that requires plugins, doesn't work with 64 bit OS, unreliable joining, cumbersome interface, unreliable friends list...
ASeven wrote on Aug 28, 2014, 18:29:Been playing it regularly since launch, takes 10-20sec finding a game. Ignore all the people talking BS.
People are saying this game is pretty much dead on the PC. Anyone can confirm or deny?
Slick wrote on Aug 29, 2014, 04:43:You won the internet today sir.
and who said that it wasn't a complete game??? battlefield was always MP-only, then they added SP and people facepalm'd because it has no place in an MP game like that. Titanfall just sticks with MP-only, and now they don't have a complete game???

They should have gotten rid of bunny hopping and just set the max speed to that.
It was a trick taking advantage of poor code that made some kind of angle running/jumping faster than straight line (IIRC). In any case, it should never have existed and is just a grotesque irritation with no real gameplay value aside from the speed.
Hup hup hup hup hup hup everwhar hup hup hup hup hup.
While it might be annoying to some, it became a part of the skill based gameplay. This one of the reasons why the game lasted for so long. The pure mechanics in it haven't changed and could be relied upon all this time.
Beamer wrote on Aug 21, 2014, 12:07:I know, I should've read... but its VERY misleading, in other games: Season Pass = Everythingpagb wrote on Aug 21, 2014, 11:24:
They are punishing early buyers. I got ripped off during the summer sale, bought the season pass and then I found out that it wasn't a "season pass" and that the GOTY would be the ideal choice for just 1€ more. I only wanted the Tiny Tina's addon, so no big deal.
In short: Logic calls out buying the season pass if you own the base game, but you pay more for less... and you also payed more back in the day.
...and I must agree with some posts here, Borderlands 2 is a overrated borefest.
The season pass was always very specific that it included 4 things. It is on you for not reading. The season pass never said it was all DLC.
GOTY ALWAYS contains more content than what you can buy on Day 1, and is ALWAYS cheaper. You weren't even an "early buyer" if you bought it in the summer sale, the game is what, 2 years old?
InBlack wrote on Aug 21, 2014, 09:53:A crapload of legendaries as usual. No maps this time, but if you skipped the February update, you'll find the Vaal areas and a few new endgame maps as a novelty too.Icewind wrote on Aug 21, 2014, 09:47:
You get your own player houses/camps, you get a ton of new crafting options, a dozen or so new questlines related to new NPCs and the usual skill tweaks.
No new legendary items? No new maps?
Creston wrote on Aug 12, 2014, 11:15:Yup, it takes 47b XP from 999 to 1000
Isn't the paragon system one of those exponential things? As in it takes like 30% longer to get the next level than it did the previous one? If so, just getting from 999 to 1000 must have taken like 500 hours.

Out of their list of 212 banned players, nearly all of them are Europeans. Is the game just way more popular in Europe or are Europeans just cheating assbags?

Next year? Wasn't it enough to keep us european people up till 02:30am just to hear about the QuakeCon sponsors and then ditch us out? Screw you Zenimax, big time.
You stayed up late for that?
Wallshadows wrote on Jul 19, 2014, 14:06:- QuakeCon is free
The fan reaction was very positive with what they saw but then again they paid a chunk of change to be there so I'm sure there is a little bit of bias when they come out talking about how awesome it was as well as editing out any on the fence reactions.
It was probably just a no-gameplay action trailer with some dubstep music but curious none the less.

Hope this exp is not as terrible as the first one... few quests and a shitton of carnage quest "Kill 40 of everything", drove me sick and left halfway through it.Timmeh wrote on Jun 26, 2014, 00:35:No, of course it's not, the UI, controls, talent trees (they have a nice twists I admit it) have nothing similar to WoW's... [/IRONY] And I remember my char being so ridiculously similar to my affliction warlock that I found myself hitting keys for skills I didn't have in Rift.
Its not a Wow clone.
It gets so old seeing every single mmo called a wow clone when wow was not even the first mmo of its kind.
Rift is not even remotely a wow clone. Neither are most of the other mmos made and released since wow.
Yeah cause the Warlock was so much different than my Necro in EQ... [/IRONY] Or you know, any other DOT/Pet based class in MMO's that came before it like DAOC. This was his point. WoW was not the first MMO, not everything is a WoW clone. It's a stupid term that needs to go away.
