I agree that graphics aren't everything... but this DOESN'T EVEN HAVE AMBIENT OCCLUSION! A graphic feature we've been enjoying for 6 years!

I tried to play VI, I Just couldn't. Got a cheap retail and installed it. On running the game, it would download a patch, then install and start the game. As the game wasn't still up to date, conflux won't work. Ran the game like 2-3 times downloading as many patches. At the end, I just went forward withouth the conflux working.

2-3 game sessions later, it seemed to download the latest patch and connected to the conflux. Guess what? offline games aren't avaiable online and vice-versa. Uninstall, forget.

Painkiller preceded HL2 by 8 months with full "next gen" physics.

1.- Get Heroes 3 complete at GoG
2.- Get the homm3hd addon
3.- Enjoy a vastly superior game

I got a free copy of Heroes3 HD via contest from the official M&M Facebook, it is... underwhelming. So glad I didn't spend the 15€...

No revamped controls? Oh oh...

The video said choice between old or new control schemes.

I had never played Grim Fandango, but if it's point and click like the original Monkey Island or Sam and Max, then I don't have a problem with it.

I just hope they don't develop controls for it like Telltale did with MI or S&M. They were absolute crap and I couldn't get myself to play through either one of them.
Oh, thanks. That features list in the article doesn't include it... and it's a big deal imho.

None of the maps in this game are conducive to sniping.
It's absurdly understated how much this game fails at being Crysis over 7 years after Crysis came out.
That's what I've been saying all the time, COD:AW is not just like crysis, but a fail at Crysis2, which had plenty of design flaws, yet CoD managed to do it worse.

Did they fix BG:EE and BG2:EE bugs? I didn't buy BG2 because of the game breaking bug that corrupted ALL my saves when I was already about to kill the Iron Throne in a completionist run.

I was so dissappointed with Archeage that I payed WoW after 2 years.

- Korean grinding: farm 600 seals in a player infested area? rly?
- Rampant cheating: Cryengine, nothing more to say
- Rampant botting: There are even raids of bots out there
- Abysmal PvE: Almost no room for melees in raids, most world bosses are just tank and spank for 5-10min
- Almost no content for casual players and/or small guilds
- No 64bit client in a game with massive player vs player raids: When it is approaching 2gb memory usage, it just stops loading textures, models and stuff
- No borderless window mode
- No mouse invert avaiable (Really? It is BUILT IN Cryengine!!)
- (EDIT) Bonus, and this is a good one: Most bosses are immune to dots and status altering debuffs, redeeming the combo system useless

Not to say that massive pvp raids are fun, but that's that way in every mmo.

My next game is gonna be a COD game if they don't fix this before November. And even if I may hate myself for buying a COD game, at least there I know what I get. Solid fucking shooting. And not 30% of all bullets simply disappearing
CoD? Really? That game whose 'lag compensation' can make you unload half a magazine on a foe just to see in your death cam that you didn't shoot at all?

I got patron for RIFT and played happily until I reached the first expansion... IT SUCKED ASS! Even with the +XP bonuses, there were few quests, and every time you killed a mob, a "carnage" quest asking you to grind like 20 mobs of each type popped up.

I even managed to level halfway up through the expansion, but it was too much for me.

Yeah, it is. Have you tried playing BF4? Web based browser POS, that requires plugins, doesn't work with 64 bit OS, unreliable joining, cumbersome interface, unreliable friends list...
The f are you talking about? Doesn't work with x64? Lol. Unreliable joining? Fix your internet access or something. Cumbersome interface? For a web-based they did a good job, and 'cumbersome' interface is the one found in every other game trying to amass all what Battlelog does within the game... so you don't even have the time to check stuff between games.

Btw, you wanted to shit Origin, but all I see is Battlelog.

So not only do you like origin, but you think battlelog is worthy of being defended?

lel

Mobile gamer alert. Let me guess... ipad?
Origin has improved like... a lot. Still no match for Steam, and yeah, it sucks to have games scattered, but as long as it works and doesn't bother me much, I'm fine with it.

Battlelog works fine, deal with it. And I can't help but giggle with all the made up BS people spew about it. Just check yourself: Not working in x64? What the hell are you saying?
