Please no more MMO's Rich - they suck, and you suck at them anyway.![]()
Seriously though, I think a lot could still be done with the Ultima brand.

I've been playing BF2 for the last week and it took me about 3 days to finally figure out that with Win7 64 you had to manually install PB using the "as administrator" option. The version included with BF2 (2005, so not too surprising) would not load, updating PB did not work, and it was only after searching through a bunch of punkbustra.exe errors that I was able to figure out you had to download pbsvc.exe, not pbsetup.exe. The forums at PB themselves were no help at all. After all this is done, I STILL see people using artillery hacks etcetera ad nauseum. So it doesn't work AND it's a pain in the ass to use.
That happens to me in Q3 occasionally. Just means you need to do the update manually by downloading from PB's website.

But if I didn't remember that (Quake fan here), I doubt the masses willpagb wrote on Aug 19, 2011, 11:41:That was done years ago when Quake 3 came out for Dreamcast. If you downgraded your PC version of Quake 3 to version 1.16 (IIRC) you could play on the same servers.
This will end the debate over "keyboard+mouse vs controller" quickly...

Meh, I have the 360 and PS3 version set to come in from goozex. I think that is going to satisfy my needs as far as this game is concerned. I would be curious to try it on the PC but after buying CoD4 on a steam sale and finding it had no gamepad support I won't be spending money on this one to try it.

Who cares.
id needs to actually make a good game once this century before their "speculations" will mean anything to me anymore.

Blood was initially developed by Q Studios, where they did almost every graphic in the game, and many levels that were edited and revamped by monolith afterwards. In fact, the Plasma Pak addon was a big letdown because it abused the maps from the blood alpha to add the content.Acleacius wrote on Apr 23, 2010, 00:22:Blood 1 was made by Monolith. They just used the BUILD engine from 3DRealms.
Too bad Monolith wasn't talented enough make Blood 2, they bought the Blood story, engine and game from 3D Realms (iirc)and didn't really hit their stride until Shogo and NOLF.
