Guess the trailer needs a remaster
Yeah... like so many other game trailers... done with 3D Studio Max, Maya, Blender, or some other professional rendering tool... but the actual game looks nothing like it.
The trailer was in-engine, and that was the problem: the original was so ahead of its time, and whatever changes they made to the remaster had so little impact graphically, that most people couldn't even tell that it wasn't from the original game.

I feel like these types of mechanics are too gimmicky and disorienting to be useful. Not surprised it wasn't working out.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Star Wars just isn't that great of a setting. It produced two great films (Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back) and some memorable video games, and that's about it. The rest is passable at best genre fare dressed up in nostalgia. Even the original trilogy ran out of ideas by the end of the first act of Return of the Jedi.

Just think they are hard core pushing RTX when it's not mainstream, and ATI owns the console market.

Does it even matter how long it takes? If it releases and it is a masterpiece literally not a single person will remember the delays. They will remember the game for what it offered them, new experiences and immersive gameplay.
First impressions are the most important ones, so for a game like this it needs the polish turned up to 11

This is also another reason not to pre-order. With all these delays and CDPR saying that the September delay was the last one. I knew they were lying. If CDPR was willing to delay all the way to September, then they are willing to delay to maybe even 2021. If it finally does get released this year than good. I won't be surprised if CP2077 gets a Jan 2021 release. Either that for companies just like releasing at around christmas time or obvious reasons.

4-8 more cores added with increased IPC (Instructions Per Cycle) while keeping the same tdp as this gen.
Plus a price point that matches or beats iNtel.
Now that would be snazzy.
If you're gonna dream, why not dream bigly.

I was just excited that everything was lining up relatively closely - Zen 3, Geforce 3000, and Cyberpunk 2077.
