Regardless of the grammar fixes the mod addresses. The actual game dialogue is still probably the best I've heard in any game. To the point that it spoils you and any game you play after just sounds so rookie or amateurish in the way they're written and the dialogue is delivered.
The most obvious for me was playing AC Odyssey. There were moments where the game gave me W3 vibes in the dialogue but on a very lower level.
What the team put together with W3 is really something outstanding. The dialogue itself adds to the immersion because you really feel like you're in this world where people truly talk that way.

Wonder what words EA said to Bioware, or Activision to Blizzard....
Probably "Join us or die"
I mean, you are not looking for a buyer if your development studio is swimming in money and success..... and after Pillars 2, what has Obsidian even produced that was decent in terms of RPG?
Exactly nothing, is what. Outer Worlds is mediocre RPG, bad shooter and has one of the worst settings ever in gaming (imo*) then you have Grounded which is.. nothing of relevance. Only other game we know about is a sequel to Outer Worlds (who cares??) and Avowed at least looks like it has potential... but that's about it.

I can only hope this new Director plays a lot of Diablo 1 and 2 and makes Diablo 4 dark, instrumental music, story driven, challenging gameplay but with a modern endgame system.

People are complaining because Netflix is using a cropped 16:9 ratio. They want the original 4:3 aspect because top and bottom are cut off.
What's with this obsession with having to fill up the entire television screen? Back before 16:9 TVs were mainstream, we had to deal with hideous pan & scan of widescreen films, and now we're dealing with the reverse: 4:3 sources chopped up on the top and bottom. It's amazing that many (most?) people still don't understand the concept of aspect ratio, or just don't care that they're missing a large chunk of the picture. I guess if it doesn't fill up their entire TV screen, they feel like they're not getting their moneys worth and are missing out on something?
That's what I was saying. Yes I read the article. Maybe I wasn't clear?

What bugs me worse than having my movie or show cropped off is when I see somebody "fix" the problem by toggling their Aspect button on the remote to make the odd screen fit their tv, nevermind the stretched out skinny (or squashed fat) people, depending.

This is one of many reasons why I have no interest in this. They should have overhauled the loot system to be more like Diablo 3, where almost any monster can drop anything. Doing Baal/Pindleskin/Whatever runs 1000 times in a row, to hunt for a specific item, isn't fun. Also, get rid of charms. The purists have Diablo 2 already, why not modernize the game for the rest of us? Oh well. It looks like the game is successful in doing exactly what it sets out to do, so I hope the purists are happy with it at least.
If you want a more "modern" experience there's a lot of other good games out there and D4 is comming at some point in the future.

No UWQHD support... In 2021. Sad. Really, really sad. This D2 remaster looked so great but during the beta they said things that made it look more and more like Warcraft 3: Refncked. Stating "We want to stay to true the original vision" makes no sense when it comes to e.g. UWQHD support. Then it is actually "We don't care and don't want to 'waste' money on the remaster."
The amount of misplaced anger and confusion surrounding the game is really something else. It's like people see the graphics and think they've rebuilt the game from the ground up when all they've done was address some minor QoL concerns and threw on an overlay with a fresh coat of paint. It's even going to include a lot of the bugs from the base game like bugging Andariel because, again, they didn't rebuild the game which is the same reason why UW breaks the game.
That's it. If you're getting mad that it doesn't support UWQHD (assuming this isn't trolling) and if you feel like the bumps D2R has had along the way makes it more and more like Reforged then that's a you problem and not the developer.
This.

This game has the best twist in any story ever made, period. "I see dead people" is a fucking joke compared to this twist. It's one I didn't see coming, and it knocked me off my feet.
The above is a problem in case of a remake. All of us except for the new generation know about this twist. Without that twist, KOTOR is much like KOTOR 2: A good game, but not even remotely as legendary as the first -- and even a bit forgettable.
