...and I'd like it to be the best game it could be.

I like that thought behind this kind up addition.

I agree with Jerykk.

When people say the game is bad, do they mean it's bad like the first one, or that it's much worse? I ask because I actually enjoyed the first one.

I hope they don't use GfWL. Talk about a pain in the fucking ass. Batman:AA ran fine; all my issues were related with GfWL and making it work/update.

+1

I can't agree more. GFWL is a disaster.

Waiting for a good deal on JC2 for xbox.....don't really see a reason to play it on PC.

Aside from mouse control, mods, and being able to run it higher res?

I grabbed JC2 and the DLC back in the last sale. And, it was totally worth it. The game is just awesome.

$100AU from EBGames Australia. £44.99 is only $77.17AU. As usual, us Australians pay a hefty tax for our software.

EB is always too expensive. Go for JB Hi-fi. Thursday's one day sale will see it down to $56.

Despite being imperfect, I think this was a good move. It's certainly the professional way to do things.

Onlive could be the perfect service for anyone that doesn't know how to build or buy a decent gaming box. If they weren't console gamers already, which they all are.

3. Re: NecroVisioN: Lost Company† Patch Jul 7, 2010, 01:55 Reactor

It's available on Steam.

I picked up plain old Necrovision in the Steam sale, just to see what it was like. Apparently Lost Company wasn't as good.

It looks fun, although I can imagine Live popping up every ten seconds to tell you about the 65 million achievements you've just collected.

Also, the dialogue is... well, great if you're a 12 year old Counterstrike player.

The special sale items seem less impressive than the reduced games in the catalogue.

News Comments > GoG vs Goliath

26. Re: GoG vs Goliath Jul 1, 2010, 23:16 Reactor

So what I'm getting is the only people who buy GoG are those who are anti-Steam?

No. I love buying games off both, but GOG is clearly the better provider of classic games, even if the price is a little higher at times. That said, and as mentioned, Steam doesn't have anywhere near what GOG has. Every now and then Steam gets a game that GOG has, but GOG has soooo many more titles you really can't compare the two.

When you want to buy (sometimes) cheap games that'll rarely be supported, and some of the time not patched, you go to Steam. When you want well supported classics, you go to GOG. When you're in Australia you act as though D2D doesn't exist (because to D2D Australia doesn't exist) and when you can, you buy off Impulse because they're a good bunch of people.
