Then learn how to use GIMP.

Gimp is no replacement for Photoshop.

I don't run Photoshop on OSX... I run a $60 app called Pixelmator and it does everything I need.

Good for you.

Did I miss the Amiga in that 'The Wii Didn't Start the Fire' video, or was it just a load of rubbish?

I enjoyed what I played of the game, to a point. Without a 360 controller the game is a pain in the bottom to play. The game not getting patched to fix that issue is a disgrace.

Mirror's Edge was, without a doubt, the most memorable game I've played in years. Some parts of it was frustrating, but the game was so fresh and unique that I easily overlooked the parts I did not like.

I agree with this, although I really didn't run into any frustrating bits. The parts I couldn't get past I considered a challenge and stuck at until they were beaten. And, I revelled in the challenge of it all.

A very memorable game, though.

The Green Lantern is who he is (and he's awesome), and I'm glad they've kept him close to the source material. And, the suit is fully CG, so I think you'll find it'll look a lot better than a Daredevil's spandex suit on the big screen.

Win.

...and will feature anime-style art, massive aerial battles, multiple endings...

Fail.

No idea if this will actually be fun, but it's nice to see it on the PC. Here's to hoping EA release Skate 4 for more than consoles too.

I am still confused as to why this game gets so much attention... oh well.

Ditto on that. I still haven't played MW2.

even so-called Christians dont know what Christianity is about

True, but then as much as I think Christians should, they don't have to.

to most people its just "GOD SAID SO, YESSIR" with basically zero knowledge about what is actually said or why or even the basis for this idea... but thats really the whole point tho - nobody asks about the basis for anything, everything is just taken at face value.. "tell me what to think so i dont have to do it myself"

No idea why you're ranting about this, when it's obvious you don't know about the subject matter either.

27. Re: Moses the terrorist Sep 29, 2010, 00:19 Reactor

I found the premise at least of the Left Behind game to be more interesting, even though the game itself turned out horrible. But this looks to be a far better game than most Biblical fare, not that this is saying much, as virtually all Bible games up until now have sucked the nads off a chimp to put it bluntly.

I agree. My personal take on it is that Christianity and games really don't mix. I have played a couple of Christian games that were fun (terrible production values, but fun) but something about them doesn't seem right. As a guy who loves making games, I just can't bring myself to go there.

My son is going to be my guinea pig and give it a try. (He's Christian; I'm not)

Heh, well... hopefully he enjoys it

#25 - And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)

#26 - Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him....

Congratulations on being a bible n00b. Carry on.

I had no intention of getting involved in this quagmire, but honestly, this is the dumbest piece of armchair psychiatry that I've read in years.

I agree, and I am a fairly hardcore Christian. It's actually old-school apologetics, but it isn't backed up scripturally.

As for the game... despite a few chinks in the design armour, at least it looks better than most other Christian games.

I'm so ANGRY I could SPIT.

AND use ALL CAPS.

You must be angry. I found the whole affair a non-issue. And, it demonstrates just how important a lack of DRM is. If Gog was closing, at least the games would still be around.
