Having seen what's on offer in the casino, I'm not really worried about this being a problem. The games are all bit shit. Still, I guess the principal isn't good.

Red Dead, now that had decent gambling mini games. I played way too much liar's dice and poker in that...

This is one of those 90s ganes that overspent on celebrity, didn’t do a good enough job on the actual game and failed to do the numbers.

I completed it back then and remember almost nothing about it. Considering this is from the golden era of point and click, that tells me all I need to know.

I also heard that Christopher Lloyd acted like a twat during production

Sounds like they put the audio from Saving Private Ryan on that D-Day footage, really jars horribly. Trying to turn real footage into a movie is pretty distasteful.

Keeping that skyscraper’s issues secret seems insane. Can’t quite believe the way the guy in video tries to downplay it. He asks if people working in the building would have wanted the stress of knowing, when really no one should have been going any where near it until it was sound.

Yeah, we really need another anaemic Solo story!

To be honest I’m struggling to remember the first one (always a good sign) - though I do remember the pacing was all over the place, and the guy playing Solo was so far behind Harrison Ford in charisma, that it made the whole thing kinda pointless.

$300m ... how...?

Of all the endings they could have gone for, I didn’t I imagined they’d go for one as boring as that. Everything was so smoothed over that it felt weird. I was desperately hoping for something interesting to happen, and then it didn’t.

The tonal shift of the last part of the episode was bizarre too. Finishing on a freeze frame of Jon and Tormund skipping off into the distance would have been more in keeping by that stage.

It's all about the chin, and as Val Kilmer proved by looking like a complete chump in the mask (actually, maybe they can CGI in a jawline these days).

It always amazes me how much money they spend making these highly polished turds for TV in the US.

It’s the one where Yoda suddenly goes on a killing spree and Luke is about to face down the Emperor but Vader tells him not to bother so he goes home.

The Thrones writers have really changed gear in this latest episode, from being lazy to actually insulting.

What with this and Endgame, it’s turned into a really crappy year for epic story conclusions. I fully expect Deadwood to be a buddy cop comedy subtitled “Cock Sucker and the Lawman.”

That Ben Kenobi vs. Darth Vader duel easily beats the sequel trilogy fights and even the too artistic fights of the prequel trilogy in my opinion.

Ugh, it was like special edition George was back again for some more fuckery. Really illustrates one of the areas the prequels went wrong. And the less said about the editing the better.

Went to see Endgame yesterday, and afterwards my overwhelming feeling is one of... disappointment. Maybe I let my anticipation get too high.

It's not terrible by any means and there are enjoyable bits, but it just felt lacking.

There are plenty of plot holes and contradictions, but they didn't bother me too much. It's more that the tone and pace are all over the place. The drive and purpose of the Infinity War plot are replaced by an aimless meandering thing which resolves in a not particularly compelling way.

Things probably aren't helped by the less interesting Avengers (Hawkeye/Black Widow/Hulk/Captain America) taking up so much of the screen time. And while I quite like Ant-man on his own, he feels jarringly goofy in this, as does the terrible Banner Hulk thing.

I really wish I was one of the people who loved it, but it just fell flat for me.

It’s a neat trick to manage to make you wish George was still in control, after what he pulled.
