At its heart, "The Acolyte" is based on what, in the hands of actually competent writers and showrunners, could actually be a compelling Star Wars story. Yeah, I can't believe I'm saying that either.
The appalling acting on top of everything else really makes it almost unwatchable. There was only one actor doing a good job, and they killed her off last week. If they’d cast Dafne Keen as the lead the show would have instantly been much better. Not good, but better.
At least Star Wars hasn’t sunk to Echo levels yet. Yet…

How long was the TV show in production? Roughly four years? With a bit of forethought, that probably would have been enough time to develop something approximating a game.
