Congrats to Trauma. They did an incredible job with Desert Combat. I kinda had a feeling they were already doing work on BF 2. That'll rock tha mullet.

Let us hope not. It has already been in the works for about 4 years.

The game looks pretty damn good so far. I'm still looking forward to Dark Sector (announced back in February, 2000) from DE though. That game gives me the warm fuzzies.

Seems like they're (DE and Epic) are breaking away from Atari. With the slice and dice of Legend, Epic having a publishing agreement with Microsoft, and now DE going to Groove Games...makes ya wonder just how Atari is really doing. I could be reading into things too much, but...hey.

Regardless, Pariah looks great so far. This should turn out to be a great gaming year. E3 should be booming...

I too beta tested for it. Excellent game. Where Unreal 2 lacked, XMP picks up and scores. Once you start to figure the game out and play with some people that can provide a challenge, you'll have a blast. The game boasts some awesome graphics and large maps. Some of the biggest I've seen in an Unreal series game since the first Unreal. Also the performance is better- running much smoother than UT 2003 for example (at least for me).

I believe XMP-Garden is the map available in the demo right? It's a great map to get going with. Wait until you guys see the others...wow. Beyond Unreal has a nice preview they wrote up a while back for those that want to read a nice taste of XMP.

Well worth the download.

W.O.W

That thunderstorm that breaks out in that video..!! This game looks and sounds incredible. The big three are coming. S.T.A.L.K.E.R, HL2, and DOOM III. What will you be playing the most?

I'll be checking it out later this evening in the metro Detroit area. I *hear* it's better than Reloaded, but then again I liked Reloaded to begin with so...

I've heard mixed reviews on it too. This won't stop me from seeing it though. I'm curious as to what will be answered and what will be left questioned.

It ends tonight.

Unreal 2 XMP will be out soon. I suggest playing that. It's very fun. Besides, it'll be a free download...so long as you have a copy of Unreal 2.

The release of XMP has nothing to do with UT 2004.

@ Quan - Duke Nukem Forever has a whole new game engine now. The game is being worked on...as it has...well...forever. It's coming though.
