LMAO! My wife and I did the same thing. We have a fairly large bucket that we use to put the candy in. Unfortunately, I decided it would be good to...you know...fill the bucket up 2 1/2 weeks before Halloween to be 'prepared'. I find myself diving in the thing a couple times a day. Already had to go buy 3 more bags to replace what was eaten. But damn...I love my Reese's, Snickers, KitKat, Almond Joys...oh snap.

I wonder if Epic Games will buy some space to advertise the next Unreal Tournament.

:p

It looks more like an action figure to me. But if it is a real game shot, then that is pretty impressive. Although it could be a cinematic from the game and not actual game play.

Delayed? Suprise, Suprise. This was coming a long time ago.

Bill Gates must have huge smile on his face now. And just think, they will certainly drop the price of the 360 when the PS3 is released. Sony will loose money and have a LOT of ground to make up come November.

Should the posted information hold true, it could very well be an interesting approach by Nintendo. So what if the graphics are on par (or slightly under) that of the Game Cube. It's not like they're bad. Same thing for the XBox or PS2. They still have plenty of life in them. If you can download any game that came out for any Nintendo console and play it on the Revolution and the system only costs $99 to $150.00, people will jump on it. Especially when gamers consider spending $300 to $400 for an XBox 360 (throw in more $$$ if you don't have a hi-def tv...if one is needed bad enough) and the PS3 rumored to be $400 to $500.

I would imagine though, that the specs of the Revolution will be better than that of the Game Cube. But I don't think it will be crazy. It would help keep cost down and the system affordable. If the Revolution is compatible with the Game Boy Advance/Mirco...the amount of games that could be played on the Rev would be insane.

The game looks pretty damn nice that's for sure. Though I'm not sure how I would adapt to a game like this after playing through Serious Sam 2.

GoW and PGR 3 look awesome. No doubt about it. However, I believe they've been showing us hi-def shots. So unless you have a hi-def television/monitor, your 27 inch magnavox aint gonna cut it. no way in hell those images will look as good (sharp and crisp) on a regular tv. many people are turning a blind eye to it too. they'll find out when they hook it up....and then cry.

Beamer,

If you can play HL2 on your laptop, you'll be able to play Far Cry on it.

I have the new issue of PC Gamer (although you can find the pics all over the web now) and Prey looks sweet. I'll be looking forward to this one.

Somebody mentioned earlier about a publisher having two different game engines. 3DRealms is over-looking Prey. Prey is from Human Head Studios who is using a modified Doom 3 engine. 3DRealms has their own project, DNF. DNF will be using a modified Unreal 3 engine (from what I understood...) When Prey is done...it will ship. It has nothing to do with 3DRealms. George B even stated this in the 3DRealms forums last week.

Why are they using different engines? Because they can and wanted to.

For those that complained about the movie not being true to form...here's your chance to vote. But don't say these petitions never do anything because they obviously do something. It may not change everthing with the movie, but at least it would be something. Something is better than nothing. I don't understand...people bitch about the movie to begin with...somebody starts a petition to try and change the movie...then the same people bitch at the petition when it is trying to help what you're bitching about.

Psi-Ops was a great game. It was much better than I thought it was going to be. If you haven't tried it yet, at least rent it and check it out. Great game. Same for Chronicles of Riddick...

Even IF he did retire in the near future, I wouldn't be suprised if Nvidia or ATi offered him extreme $$$$$$ to be their main graphic guru. Regardless, he'll still be in the gaming world for the next few years. Nothing to worry about.

Congrats on the baby John!
