I've played through this short demo twice; I will likely buy this.
It's simple, it's late 90's and I liked it. The devs have been pretty active on Steam Discussion group the last few days, seem like great people. Feedback has been positive too.
Similar to Afraid of the Dark?

They describe it as Thief with guns. thiefwithguns.com will direct you to the steam page.

Lots of things in this bundle I've never heard of--but more than enough titles that I have heard of and would love to try out. It's amazing value. Going to try some of these out this weekend.

Update: https://www.anandtech.com/show/15839/electromigration-amd-ryzen-current-boosting-wont-kill-your-cpu

This. That article was written by Dr. Ian Cutress, who is well equipped to discuss this "issue". He says, "The peak voltage, which matters a lot for electromigration, only moves from 1.41 volts to 1.42 volts." This is a non-story. You'll be fine.

Anyone tried Beautiful Desolation? Looks good but I haven't seen any reviews yet. Haven't bought anything on GOG in awhile, but their new 30-day refund policy combined with their no-DRM policy makes me want to start using them again.

This game would be great if it was an RPG. I should be able to use my wine-making powers for evil.

Well, they'd be crazy to release it. Why release it when you can make millions selling things that don't even have to exist? It's the promise of a ship or a pet or outfit or whatever. That's where the money is.

So you don't have banks? Or you have banks but nobody knows why they bother because nobody ever goes in? Because if they're building banks that nobody ever enters, then maybe there's more sinister going on.

Yeah, this looks pretty good. And I like the premise. Does remind me a lot of Limbo, but that's not a bad thing.

The Ryzen for heating thing is real. From the link:

Every processor heats. What matters is the Thermal Design Power, and Ryzen Pro is producing the same heat as the equivalent Intel CPUs we were using while providing twice as many cores. A good fit for our customers that use core count to evaluate their computing needs.

Not only that, but if you accept their 1 year of free monitoring, you also have to agree not to sue them. It's in their ToS.

What would you prefer? Pay 2 win instead?

Yeah, that's Star Citizen. I'm happy with Elite--even if I haven't played in awhile. But I'm really sorry I ever invested in Star Citizen. Luckily, I didn't go crazy and spend over $100 like a lot of people, but the fact that you can buy your way into any ship you want is ridiculous. Don't even care if they ever release it at this point.

I backed this, and have completely stopped even keeping up with what they're doing. It seems now they're basically just remaking UO, and the way they're selling houses and castles and all other kinds of shit makes Chris Roberts go "DAAAAAMN!"

Same here. Stopped reading the updates. I tried playing the demo and it was absolute crap

I really wish they had skipped this and just jumped into the overdue Volta. I've been sitting on my 3gb GTX580 forever, waiting for a card capable of 4k@60 max settings. This won't be it still. Where the fuck is Volta? >=(

Really? Wow that is a long wait. I have to say I run 4K 60fps on most games with a 1080gtx. Max settings is such a minor difference I would drop that requirement. I run a samsung 48" quantum dot HDR TV as my monitor and it is jaw dropping based on color and resolution alone. Lower some settings to get 60fps is not a big deal. IMO this 1080Ti is an amazing upgrade at that price, buy 2017 samsung HDR tv and you will never look back.

I'd say just turn anti-aliasing off. You don't need to smooth out "the jaggies" at that resolution.

I was out walking my dog on the trail behind my house and I ran into this guy walking his dog. Started talking. He's a developer who works at CIG here in Austin. Says he's working on Star Citizen. I just smiled and said I was familiar with the company. What do you say when you meet a stranger who owes you money?
