DS is the little guy here, and the guy that makes the games, and when he loses, you lose. You are all just jealous that DS makes his living doing what he likes. So he make MMOG rather than FPSs. To each his own. There sure seems to be a market and a following for it. If you don't like the game, don't play it. What's the point of cutting on someone for getting a raw deal from a big corp?

Seriously, no one has ever been hurt because someone expressed their opinion. If they were, they chose to be! I know anything in the private sector is not protected by the Constitution of the USA (especially if it's in Canada, but that's their fault :P), but damnit, this country was founded on those principles for a good reason.

All I want to know is whether I should turn off steam? I mean, from what I've heard the source code to Steam is in there as well. So is there a giant hole in my computer or not?!?!

Hahahahaha to all who upgraded for a game.

If you watched the E3 movie, you could see that HL2 was choking in some scenes, and it was running on a 9800Pro P4 3.2GHz. Just like when Q3 came out, there will not be machines fast enough to run this game at enjoyable (much less competitive), frames rate when all the eye candy is turned on, for some time after the release. I couldn't max out Q3 until over a year after the release date. This game will be the same, and Doom3 will be worse.

I agree. My comments were aimed at those who are nonplussed by the recent news. Anyone with half a brain knew this was coming.
