It's wild to me that in a nation that specifically has provisions to arm all its citizens to prevent a government from overreaching, people are just standing by letting these people stomp all over their democracy. You'd think this is the time the 2nd Amendment was created for!

Unfortunately, the one's with the guns, voted for this. Rifle

I like, and would like to see games based on, his Spellsinger series.

THAT. WOULD. BE. AWESOME.
It would be almost impossible to get the licensing for all of the music though. Or at least the lyrics.

Painkiller Black is still one of favorite FPS releases. I don't know what "it" is, but it had it.

Doom. Quake. Unreal Tournament. Serious Sam. Painkiller. In no particular order, my top 5 FPS franchises based on hours played and how often I have come back to them to play again. That list makes me feel soooo old.

We are old. My list, also in no particular order:

Doom
Unreal Tournament
Painkiller
Duke Nukem
Wolfenstein
Descent
Terminal Velocity
I remember going through the share ware rack at Walmart and finding wolfenstein 3D. The rest is history. Hooked on PC gaming since.

Thank you all for your kind words. It’s been a tough year. In January, my mom entered hospice, and the hospital’s estimate was pretty accurate—she had about 9-10 months. My dad had a stroke in February that left him essentially handicapped. In August, my doctor diagnosed me with autism, specifically related to Asperger’s (even though that term isn’t officially used anymore; it’s part of the autism spectrum) and I lost my job in September after working there for over ten years.

Honestly, I feel really numb, but I’m also so thankful to be alive. I’m staying hopeful and looking forward to finding a new job soon. I also stay active in my religious ministry as often as I can. It brings me comfort to share God’s hope for the future through the Bible, knowing it might also help someone else who’s going through a difficult time.

I love this quote from Ernest Hemingway: "Night is always darker before the dawn and life is the same, the hard times will pass, every thing will get better and sun will shine brighter then ever." It really resonates right now because things feel so dark. So I'm hoping things will get better.

Please know that you are not alone.
I lost my father this last Easter. Septic Shock.
Also, while not diagnosed, an old boss told me that I can have any office. As long as it doesn't have a window. I get distracted too easily.

Though I do recall, either GTA 4 or 5 had graphic settings that were disabled until future hardware became available to take advantage. I don't mind that and think it's awesome to know the game is somewhat future proof immediately.
