Anyone understand Win7 licensing. I've tried to google around with no luck. The question being, is it legal to have multiple installs on the same PC? I.e. 2nd drive being a backup, in case of issues. Obviously only one drive will run att and when updating it would show the same PC but just a different drive with the same serial.
That does not sound bad to me, but not sure if it violates licensing.
Just do it. Now if you had 7 on one and the other had the digital rights management upgrade from that 7 to 10, I would say that would be more a dark grey area.
Thanks, nah I don't care about win10. I was thinking it was safe, but hopefully someone will know for sure.

True, also https://isthereanydeal.com/ is a good one too. It misses some, but captures 90%+ of current sales. It has a nice History reference for each site, so it's easy to find "lowest ever" price.

That has to be the worst listing I've ever seen for any sale much less a Summer Sale. Unless I missed it, there doesn't seem to be a page where all the sales are listed. You have to choose 6 to 8 different categories then each has multiple pages, not to mention most of the deals are crappy.

Does this have "Push button to stick to wall" gameplay?

That ruined the prior one for me, feels so unrealistic. I have no problem ducking behind cover, but I want to manually control it (ducking/leaning), not have a toggle on/off button.

I unbound my "press button to win" and "press button to stick to wall" keys and just played it like normal. Stealth didn't always quite work right that way, but it was more or less playable like the real Deus Ex.
It was painful enough just remembering 'push to win'. Damn you guys for reminding me of the 'stick to the wall', drive that stake right though my tick tock! Winkrazz

Thanks for the detailed reply, Rhett!

Just knowing there are Pve servers is good enough news for me to be interested. Yours isn't the first post I've read about performance problems. At the moment I'm on an average machine so it'd probably be a pretty hard hit. I'm still interested with the possible good Pve servers. I don't care if the whole damn server is in a gankfest as long as I'm able to opt out.

I'm defiantly used to playing hard core games like EQ and Vanguard, where Training Mob Hords is considered an art form by some deviant trolls. I'm sure I'll die many times, just trying to get used to the gameplay. I just prefer dying as a learning experince, not because some kid can't get laid and needs to take it out in pvp. Jester

So is this pvp or pve? I see Coop on the site, but you can never tell these days, the way some developers lie. I can deal with public pve servers, which require agreement to duel. But I'm sure they hell not interested in a gankfest.

Afaik, since there isn't Coop, the most important thing after actual game funding is Full Mod support. There's nothing that helps keep the sales up, on a good game with constant name recognition than Mod Support. Lighter

In case anyone else wants it, a mod 'Care Your Eyes' works, mostly. You can use it to edit colors, fonts or whatever. You have to disable it for sites like Blue's with a click once. At least it kills sites that try to blind you with white backgrounds.

Retraction, 'Care Your Eyes' does work but if you use addons such as WoT(Web of Trust) it hides the webpage rating icons. Oh well, I might manually change some with F12, code edits.

Need some help if possible...Just installed Google Chrome and I'm going blind from all the white backgrounds! Spent about 30 minutes trying to find the settings or installing/uninstalling themes. Then found an addon/extension/whatever called Color Change, but it only has about 10 neon choices and black. How the hell can it be so hard to manually set your own color preferences? Help! Wall

That's bullshit they moved Full Mod Support to 2.3 million! It's far too important to be forced out, requiring 1.1 million in 24 hours.

Thought this game was dead for PC, maybe I was just hoping... Guess I can't blame Epic for wanting the cash flow, but the idea they didn't announce...
"Unreal: The Prequel" first is still an insult to their decades long fans. Protest

Only played the first Alice, back in the day. Once this guy's self-love was evident, avoided at all costs, never played another. Jells Bells, wouldn't even pirate him even if I had a chance.

It's funny seeing cliffy's name in here. To me no one has shit on gaming worst than cliffy, not even carmack. The guy's ego is almost single handedly responsible for the near death of COOP. The arrogance of killing COOP gaming after the near masterpiece (att) of Unreal Coop, was staggeringly stupid to behold.

As much as I want this to be great, it's hard to put faith in ubi. It's almost guaranteed to force us to use their launcher at the very least.

Uplay integration has already been confirmed, sadly. That said, it might still be a good game. The combat looks like a step up from the previous game and the writing still seems hilarious.
True, I gotta admit, even though I don't watch the tv show, really loved the game. Also any improvement to combat is more than welcome! Lighter
