Seems lots of shows are now starting years earlier, trying and hoping to get a big enough following in the first year or two to be able to afford the big budget years. Preacher, Lucifer, 12 Monkeys(at least I think it's pre-movie) and Wynonna Earp. One that's doing great (well I like it) at a slow pace is The Expanse. The first season barely got past the first half of the first book.

I can't decide which is a bigger disappointment. How fast GoT moved through the books or audiences are only interested in fast and violent content (laughable TWD).

Lucifer is so bad, yet the comic series was so good. I don't know why they even bothered.
Because they want more than hardcore comic fans? Giggle
You do realize by taking such a negative attitude about it, your actually killing the chance to get the content you want, right? Personally I can enjoy seeing him try to deal with emotions for the first time. The series seems to be taking place at least a decade before the comics. Not to mention, it's pretty obvious someone is shielding Chloe , not mention why and who (well imo).

Wheel of Time series IS happening! Mwahaha
Sent Blue the info, so maybe he will post it tomorrow.

I'd much rather see WoT than GoT or Witcher. While I really like the worlds of GoT and Witcher, the writing and plots are extremely annoying.

Also found a patch to make the videos play normally in WoT game. It's been broken for years due to Quicktime dev kit att and modern systems.

I missed out on this, think I was playing EQ back then dragging my dead bodies to graveyards, no doubt. Biting

Would this be worth checking out now days, as a new player? Or maybe this is another bad example of Funcom F2P? I really liked The Secret World, so not just knocking Funcom round.

First time hearing of Half-Payne, that's pretty damn cool. Though it might only be for Black Mesa.

I'm not sure what you guys expected, but don't see how GoT could have kept up it's pace preseason 6. People just don't get born, raised and trained fast enough to continue the slaughter. At some point the story has to congeal. Unless your going to bring in new families, I don't see any other way. Or by saying 'traditional hero' you wanted a story where the worst villain kills everyone.

I'd love to see that longshot, nin! Fingerscrossed

I'm not saying there aren't some bad players selling keys. I just don't want to cast judgement on everyone and the whole game sales market. This is just the kind of scandal the big corporate's want to push people away from independent sales. This is how big corporate played the Crowd Funding too.

It's not everyone, but if there are no controls on it there's no reason to think the "winners" -- the ones with the lowest prices -- aren't the criminal element. It's just like a game, really; in a competitive game with no cheat protection, how much faith are you going to have in the scores of the people at the top?
Right, so this is about coming up with a solution that causes the least amount of damage to developers (imo fuck publishers), the game marketing industry and legitimately selling. So the question, is there a solution yet, if not all I'm saying is none of us should jump to pitchforks and torches as a first solution.

Personally I do everything possible not to have any cheat protection software on my PC. Nor, do I have any problem never logging onto a competitive server. I'm not a competitive person, strictly COOP gamer and RL'er!

Ask your doctor if he would be willing to do another complete spectrum (not sure official name). Then send it to completely different lab, different owners and employees. Not so much the one he used is bad, but it seems extremely easy to miss something. If the tests come back identical, then your probably only out a few hundred bucks.

Just so, we guys have to be most careful about our hearts and prostates. Went to a doctor once and she actually had me take off my shoes and socks. Relaxed in the chair, then she pinch a toe on each foot. Also, Sleep Deprivation is bad and most of us guys have NO idea what the symptoms are, how to recognize swelling prostate problems. Believe it or not, not draining our bladders can keep us from sleeping and cause things like joint tenderness. Also guy's circulation weakness is our legs. The things we do to make it worst is wear belts, tight socks and jeans.

Yes, the owners answers were evasive, but do you remember when Steam first started? How did Gabe's answer any different or how does Google answer about their metrics?

Actually Regional Pricing isn't always about regional wealth, often times corporations want to flood a country with their product for free, just to get PR and whole countries hooked, i.e. microsoft.

Edit: Mostly for shitty grammar and syntax.

Virtually all of mine are only 10% off. I don't see a single game I want at a sale price I deem fair atm. And G2A is still crushing most of those prices.

Don't buy off of G2A if you can stand it. There was an article on here a few days ago, many stolen credit card rings are buying game keys and reselling them on G2A, and G2A doesn't seem to be doing much at all about it.

More on topic: I may have reached peak Steam ownership for awhile, no good sales on my wishlist at all at the moment.

I saw the article too, but wasn't it sort of speculation? It just seemed like something the RIAA drm, PR people try to push to justify all their lawsuits.

Anyone using origin, tell me what's going on with bioware points (only interested is ME2 dlc)? I've heard/read they are going to stop using bp, are they just taking cash now?

I've grabbed about 7 games so far but ironically seems the only places having Flash sales now, are the key sites.

Odd note, can't believe how much Dungeon Lords has been getting patched on Steam. Three times, in 6 months it's more than 11 years of the game! Zombie

Yeah, this makes no sense, well unless the game is UNDER selling. I don't see anything near the word of mouth or enthusiasm, for doom. Guess it could just be consoles selling the majority of the games and they are desperate to keep it in the news. At least they didn't pull another idiot carmack move and make it about jump scares in every room. Rolleyes

Well they're charging $80cdn for the game and $60 for the season pass. That's enough to stop a lot of people from going lolno, and just waiting for the ultra-gold-emperor-demonkiller edition to be released in a years time.
Seriously, damn I'm glad I just avoided it. Guess I'll wait for the superawesomewaycool edition too.

I know it's just me bitching about 2K again but did you see Mafia 2. I know it's not on sale atm, but a 6 year old game being sold for $30.00, with dlc at $42. They are asking $72 for the game and dlc.

When they recently brought it back on Steam it was offered for an 85% discount for the first week or two... as to it's present price, I'm guessing the music licensing rights for it aren't cheap (which is why it was originally pulled from Steam).
Yeah, I was the one who sent in the info. It was just the base game iirc, which still leaves another $42 for the dlc. Not to mention after 6 years no complete edition, either. I'm not really sure it's the music. Why use music so expensive they can't afford to offer the game for sale, for 2 years? Why not change the music? There are tons of solutions. And again, why is a 6 year old game total price $72, on sale or not?
