Future Shock

I asked the Bethesda EU PR Manager whether he can look into getting Future Shock and Skynet (and possibly the earlier releases) up on GOG or whether they're tied up in licensing hell. He said he'd look into it with Todd Howard.
Great idea, keep us updated!

Damn, besides the obvious games like NOLF & NOLF 2, I've been hoping for a couple of lesser known games:
Drakan Order of the Flame

Drakan "lesser known"? Que el fucko?!?

That game was bundled with just about every single graphics card on the market for a year or two back in the day and given away for free on magazine CDs/DVDs about a billion times.

Seriously, in Y2K it probably would have been harder to find a single PC owner who did NOT own a copy of Drakan (or at least heard of it) than the other way around.
Now days, all those people are old and grumpy!

It would be hilarious if Anthony Weiner somehow attempted a political comeback again later. Sad but hilarious.
Thanks true, he could run as a republican, without any problems now.

Oh brother...

I was just listening to NPR, they were discussing recent sexual harassment issues/charges and specifically the latest ones concerning Kevin Spacey. And some clown said (paraphrased), "I think it is likely there will be serious lawsuits against Fox and Disney which could bring those corporations down."

Okay, I am not making any comment about any person's guilt or non-guilt in these cases. However, to think sexual harassment lawsuits will bring down multi-billion dollar corporations shows a serious disconnect from reality.
That sounds like a man on the street interview, didn't know NPR did those. Fox even renewed dipshits contract after he had already paid 23 32 million dollars to one of the women he sexually harassed. It's all about the money, no corporations will fall.
NPR had to add conservative reporters to continue to get taxpayer dollars (iirc, happened around 2010, moronic conservative congress voted to ban abortion about 200 times in 2 years (unless that was 2012 idiots) ), so you hear idiotic comments occasionally.

Actually that Tanner guy deserves it. Suing for 2 counts for 150k each for 2 still frames of a video from an amateur photograpjer? That's just another asshole clogging up the courts with some get-rich-quick BS lawsuit. I think CBS' response is wholly merited and rather funny. He's hoisting himself on his own petard.

One of the biggest works of art is you can now play the full game in Coop! It's an amazing set of fixes and is the definitive Unofficial Patch. It's pretty unbelievable if you get a chance to check out the list of changes and fixes.

Most features are a choice, like adding addiction when drinking vampire blood (which is in the rulebook, iirc). The AI is much smarter, especially the usage of disciplines and not wasting blood. Many disciplines now last much longer and things like Enchantment last until canceled. Meaning you can enthrall an enemy and it stays with you as a pet, until it dies fighting for you or until you release/kill it.

Has anyone else used Firefox plugin for Mega Download. I downloaded a 1 gig patch. It was the strangest thing, once completed Mega seemed to still be holding onto the RAM it used.

The only way I could free up the RAM was to close the browser. There's doesn't seem to be any spyware or anything added to my system. I don't actually have an account, is it just a setting, you have to login to set?

Whoa, whoa, whoa...hold up a second...you use Firefox?! a 1gb patch for an extension seems a little...excessive. Did you Google it? Doesn't sound legit to me.

=-Rigs-=
Thanks for the reply. The patch was for a game, but the addon doesn't seem to release RAM. So if I was to download the patch again without closing the browser, it would have been holding 2 gig of RAM. It can be cleared with a restart but wasn't sure if someone else had heard or had a better fix.

Bloodlines Unofficial Patch, is still really a beta 9.9 and have already had one quick update. The floating, higher resolution clan symbols on the main menu had a bit of a memory leak. They're fixed now.

Oh, GOG was trying to beat Steam to the punch again, since they are both starting on the same day. I still haven't signed up for Connect, since I'm not really comfortable giving GOG permanent access to my Steam account.

MEH! Why oh why did people have to ruin the system? Steam sales used to be so exciting. Now it's like you are paying the normal price when a game is on sale, and the rest of the year you are paying the marked up price. I'd rather have flash deals again and not be able to get refunds.
Doesn't GoG still do flash sales?
I hope so, but honestly I can't think of any real flash sales this year. In the past wouldn't we have had an Insomnia sale by now?
