GTR 2 isn't made by BugBear, but by SimBin/Blimey! Games.

BugBear does FlatOut, and that's it ...

This has already been debunked by Square Enix, saying the Nikkei Net report is incorrect, nothing has been decided yet, let alone in development.

Square is currently working on an all new MMORPG, not a sequel, as well as addons for FF XI.

Meatforce, agreed ...

At this point, it is not coming to X360 and PC, so the "confirmation" is the part that was denied by Ubisoft.

We all know Ubisoft does multiplatform, and rumors have been floating since E3, so yes, it will most likely be coming to other platforms, but for now, it's not ...

Ubisoft UK already denied this yesterday, saying that the only confirmed and announced platform is still PS3, for now ...

I received that statement/email as well over the weekend. Anything thats being sent from a yahoo account, and happens to roll in over the weekend, making it impossible to verify, should raise serious question marks...

So Monday morning I contacted Eidos and SCi and they had no idea what I was talking about...

Must say it was well written though, and made rather believable, but it's the 3rd fabricated email in about a month, so I was suspicious as soon as I received it.

this is most likely true, bfnation managed to get their hands on an internal trailer a few days ago, which indeed showed Battlefield in a sci-fi setting with huge mechs, foot soldiers, futuristic buildings, flying pods etc.

It's not a new game, it's Zero Tolerance renamed, again, because Eidos was getting sued for copyright infringement.

They owe WorthPlaying more than $4K for advertising.

Those 2 directors were certainly up to something. Once the developers started bailing Leo Zullo kept saying our funds were safe, but then invoices started getting lost, he had to check with accounting, didn't return calls, weeks in between, and so forth. All the while they were bankrupt, even after apparently Court ruled them out of business.

Riley Pizt, the game was at both booths, obviously more prominent at JoWood's booth with the big Stargate and all, but Namco announced at E3 they were bringing it to NA, and had the Xbox version playable.

Since the Perception/JoWood troublre started 2-3 months ago, Namco hasn't done ANY PR on the title. Namco is closer to dropping the title off its lineup, than it is to "signing" a deal.

As Stephen mentioned, they made Bandits: Phoenix Rising, which was a mediocre game.

This announcement is scary, developing GR3 is a big burden on their shoulders for sure, their track record is not too impressive, at all...
