I used Opera Next for about a year (it's just Opera flavored Chrome) and went back to Firefox recently. The Ublock Origin add-on is pretty good.

I left Opera because it kept updating and changing things I didn't want changed.

Not all states have all legal protections. In some states employers can ask you for a FB password - most states actually. What they see when they go there, though, can get tricky as to whether or not they can really use it - so I doubt many companies are doing this.

The privacy protections in the US are actually pretty poor.

BYOD is a big problem for IT so remote wipe is kind of necessary in a lot of environments.

I skipped backing this one.

After backing a few of the other "old big names" I came to the conclusion that they had fallen out of favor / the industry for a reason.

That didn't last long. Maybe they'll just give up and finally put ME3 on Steam. I might actually play it finally.

There's not really anything new there, but I'm sure there will be later.

Fans have already picked apart the videos. There's a lot of speculation that skills have been ditched in favor of a ranked perk system since none of the UI elements appear to have a skills selection.

I'm generally okay with that since a lot of the skills mostly just operated on a lock - so 51 was basically the same as 72 when it came to actually doing anything special or useful.

Some fans think there'll be more at Quake Con but I would expect that mostly to be about the new Doom game.

I noticed the new deathclaw appears to have a few different attacks - including a headbutt.

I hope they bring centaurs back just because they were so gross.

The only reason I can think a game would hard lock at a certain FPS is if the developers were too lazy to program in a proper timer.

And given that the code for such is freely available everywhere that is pretty lazy.

Daedric princes don't really die. They can harass each other in significant ways - Jyggalag for example. Mortals can fling them back to their places in Oblivion, but eventually they come back.

I get the impression they are immortal and sort of bored.

The PVP is really broken right now. Everyone goes around in a mob stacking enchants and while it works, it is no fun at all.

I "beat" the game and unsubscribed. Now I just dink around accumulating gold waiting for FO4 to come out.

Making everyone have a battery is a half-assed solution. Battery + solar panel maybe.

Is it like STO where you can get special items and ships if you pay but you can still do okay in fights (and even win) if you have skill and do some grinding / missions?

Or is it truly $ = you win button?

I mean, they're giving the game away free so money has to come in somehow.

I don't mind paying if it's not a fortune to get something decent.

I'm kind of dumbfounded by the alligator story.
