I'm not really sure I understand why gamers complain about the games they purchase and support. Granted yes I can see certain points where things could have been better. But come on people. It's not like the developers are trying to cheat you out of anything. Their job is to try and make the best game they can. However making a game comes with time contraints, funding constraints and the fact that they have lives of their own. If you're going to complain so much about a game then don't buy it. That's your choice. Personally I'm just happy that I have the ability to play the games these guys work hard to put out. Now every now and then we see a game that comes out that's just complete shit I.E. Diakatana. Now we all know that was a shitty game because there were thousands upon thousands of gamers that ranted about it. However when I come here and I see maybe 3-5 people repeatedly posting on the same topic, and doing nothing but complaining, I don't think that holds any value. As for the limited multiplayer for Halo for the PC that was explained in an interview with Gear Box's President. Not to mention the fact that I was there for the beta test in their office. The levels are too small and compact for more than 16 players. As for no multiplayer in Doom III, do you really want to try and do multiplayer in a game that's gonna already push your machine to the max in Single Player? There's all sorts of limits and reasons for why they do what they do and us as gamers don't cut them any slack. They're trying their best to listen to us and do what they can to make the games as awesome as possible. The least we can do is try and understand that. And if we can't then we shouldn't by the game. But by no means should we be allowed to say they aren't trying or that they let their game go to shit. At least not unless it's a world wide epidemic. Then maybe I could understand and agree. Untill then, come on guys, we're gamers, we're supposed to cherish the people who give us what we crave. Who knows, one day we could end up pissing them off so much that they no longer want to make games for us.
