I ordered mine yesterday. It's an evga 6800 gt, bad thing is they have an eta of 7/30 before they get some more in. But on well doom 3 won't be out till the 4th anyway so I really won't need it before then.
So, can we all agree now that the 6800 is much better than the x800 in all aspects?

Maybe you're saying that the 6800 will become a better card than the X800 as more games support ps3. I think that will happen myself. However, I haven't seen any information for anyone to research that will prove it..

BTW knowing that the 6800 is Directx 9.0c compatible and the x800 is only 9.0b compatible, why would anyone buy the x800? That and the Shader 3.0. People who do their research buy the 6800.

Have you tried the fix that was posted on their support site somewhere? You have to edit the Default.con and add this line at the end:
"Add game.soundbuffersize 400"
I tried that but it didn't do anything. Do I have to put the "add" before the game.soundbuffersize 400?

Anyone else kinda get like this "Jerkyiness" sometimes when playing? Its not lag or anything, I can't explain it but its kinda like old network lag when you kinda do the moonwalk.
