Halsy, you need to stop getting bated into fights. It’s pretty obvious now when Josh posts, it’s just bait to get you to go crazy and you know what? It works every single time. You go on some tirade for 3 pages and although the facts you argue are more or less correct, they are discredited and hidden in all your rage.

Now, in regard to the convention. Kerry/Edwards have made the case and from the looks of it most of the American people are starting to come around. Kerry made his case very well and although it wasn’t a Clinton speech it was above what most people expected. At this point the Bush camp needs to drop the Kerry bashing and address what he is going to do in the future. It’s obvious that he can’t run on his record that he has had for the last 3 ½ years and neither is running on the he isn’t Kerry platform. If we wants to try and win which he still might be able to do then he will need to be positive.

ordered my 6800GT last week ( PNY ) ...$350.00 ! (not retail , so dont bug me with questions )

Btw, I noticed that you can't find a geforce 6800 for under $410 anymore, even on pricewatch. I guess the demand is greater than the supply.

It also doesn't say that its wrong to rape dogs in a park but that illegal. You can't use the argument that if its not in the constitution it doesn't apply.

No displaying them on government land is againts what the term "seperation of church and state" means. Preventing someone from displaying them in their own property is unconstutional. Nobody is preventing anyone from praying at school. You can pray before and after school hours.

BS, if you knew anything about the ACLU you would know that on many occasions that they have taken up cases of christans who had been discriminated agains. Most recently they fought for a teen to have a bible verse on his page in the yearbook and fought to let a teacher wear her cross in school.

And since doom3 was mentioned today, I just got that PCgamer mag. Without giving too much away, The games takes about 23hours to play on medium setting which is the 2nd hardest I think. It starts out like the original HL where you just wonder around saying hi to everyone. The first half of the game takes place on mars the second half takes place in hell. There is a cool weapon called a "Soul Cube" that does something.

If you want to see the file versions, etc. all you need to use is DxDiag (c: drive/Program Files/DirectX/Setup). This is the Direct X Diagnostic Tool which will allow you to test Direct Draw, Direct 3D, etc.

Ah, that's right I forgot what the command was. I hope SP2 comes out soon, My IE 6 keeps freezing up on me and I don't know why.

That’s what's called hypocrisy. An unborn child is just a fetus and is in no-way more valuable than a Human life. The death penalty is state-sponsored murder IMO. You can't make the point of saying murder is wrong by killing someone. That and it costs more than life in prison. Only other coutntries that have state-sponored murder are china, iran and ect and I don't want to be in that exclusive club.

Social programs are what make this country great and every 1st world country has social programs. It gives the poor tools to get on their feet make a life for themselves.

Well FWIW it's also been reported over on HardOCP. I'm already running the SP2 eval for Windows XP but didn't notice if I already had DX9.0c though... DX installed fine and AVG reports no viruses. AdAware is clean, too. My only problem is I have virtually no games installed to test with.

At any rate, check the HardOCP link (link will hose the forums) at they give the official Microsoft link.

Yeah I just installed it, I can't seem to bring up the management window. Do you know what the enw command line is?

Tone what down? They started it, I'm just finishing it. I'm so sick of those tired old myths and lies on the right, and they need to be dispelled once and for all. When you intsall it you need to do 2 things

Installing Managed DirectX requirements
1) .NET Framework is installed before calling the DirectX setup.
2) Use "/installmanageddx" command line parameter if using DXSetup.exe

Anyway, about the Directx 9.0c I think it won't be released ever alone since it is due to be released with the windows xp SP2 pack that is due out this month. I think they are just waiting for it to be released before they put out Directx 9.0c
