I really liked it. It was intense, fun, but way too short. The weapons system isnt as good as Day of Defeat's, but thats to be expected. I do like the ironsights option though. I had a really great time playing through.

One thing about the AI, is that its on and off. It sometimes helps you flank a MG position, and others it just sits behind some cover doing diddly squat. They should have made a better AI routine rather than done some (albiet awsome) scripted sequences. Its scripting is of a lesser scale than that of MOHAA, but its still pretty damn scripted, and its too damn obvious even the first time playing.

Its a fun little quick diversion, and I hope the full version will feature better AI, because I cant wait to try out the stalingrad missions. Hell yeah!

I only took the time because A) I am bored and I my new GFX card hasnt arrived yet, and therefore cant play that many games (right now I have in a replacement tnt 1. TNT 1 ffs!), and B) I find it amusing to make fun of sophmorific tools like you.

and also you took me serious which is seriously way beyoned the point of that post. Basically it was one sarcastic piece of fine posting that you got caught up in. You found it in your heart to care enough to try to tell me right.

If you think that your post was filled with sarcasm... then you seriously need to read more. Or just look it up. www.dictionary.com There you go.

And did you say "one sarcastic piece of FINE posting" ? Fine posting? How was that FINE posting when it was filled with insults a middle school kid would use. How in God's name is that "fine posting"?

And I do not believe you are a troll, I just think you get pissed off too easily. You have awful thin skin for a person on the internet.

yo bitch what the fucks your problem? small penis syndrome? what bitch? i dont go to this site that often like you you fuckin nerd.. chill the hell out.. talk shit to me you will fuckin find me at your door with a berretta screamin get on yo kneees cunt bag.. ill fuckin make you lick shit that you aint ever licked. So give me a fuckin link you faggot. (indented/italic)

First of all, "Delthefunkeehomosapien", theres really no need for that much swearing. Secondly, and more importantly, he wasnt "talking shit," he was merely stating a fact in a sarcastic manner. Thirdly, you sophmorific-insult spewing peon, you - more likely than not - dont know your ass from your elbow when it comes to firearms. And saying "berreta" is not very specific, since Berreta makes many types of firearms, including pistols and SMGs. You must be refering to the Berreta 92f 9mm pistol you see in all those "kewl actian moviez waer dey haev 2 pistals akeembo kekekekeke zerg rush!!!111" It is pathetic that you tried to make an insult, and tried to make it sound like you know what you are talking about, but you failed miserably. Actually, you didnt fail, because its pretty amusing to whoever reads the post, since you are a complete tool. Besides, you would have a hard time figuring out what to do to even load the pistol. And on the off chance that you do have a gun, then god help us... because if morons like you can own firearms... we seriously need to look into our gun control policies (better enforcement, not more laws).

Oh yeah... and you call him a nerd? Pot... kettle....... black. He'll find you at his door? Hows that? Are you going to find out his IP, hack into his ISP's servers, and find out where he lives? If so, see the above statement regarding a pot, kettle, and the colour black.

If you could figure out how to register to Bluesnews (unless of course one of your "nerd" "friends" did it for you), then you most certainly can figure out how to find it. I'll be kind and give you, the hapless young lad who if he owns a gun will most likely be seen in the darwin awards website soon, a hint. It starts with a Go.

PS: Thanks for the laugh.

You dumbass. The StG44 may look like an AK47, but they are two totally different weapons. Aside from the fact that Kalishnakov was working on a prototype before '44 (i think it was either 42 or 43, I have to check), the Germans didnt issue any StG43 in any large quantities. Even after improving on the design and getting the StG44, they still didnt have enough to issue in any large numbers.

As for the StG44-AK47 similarities: The similarities end in the looks.

First off, the StG44 was unreliable and required a lot of maintenance and cleaning. Secondly, most of the parts in the gun were packed in tight, therefore allowing sand/dirt/etc to screw up the moving parts inside.

The AK47 however, is the most reliable gun on the entire planet. You can shove it under sand, throw dirt on it, bury it in dirt and come back a year later, go underwater, and just about anything you can think of, and it will still fire. The parts inside the gun are spread out, and even if a lot of dirt or sand gets in it, it will still fire. Why the hell do you think so many armies/rebel/people around the world use it? Its user-friendly. It is a conscript-army's dream. Low maintenance, high reliability, and it packs a big punch.

Please become more informed before spouting off opinion disguised as fact.

A lot of programmers and art people left/were fired too... but they can be replaced.

I would still somewhat dissagree with him, considering all the cool ideas and reassuring point of views of J.E. Sawyer. And I also heard on the IPLY forums that CA (Chris Avellone?) "left his mark" so to speak with documents and files with ideas, concepts, and game mechanics, etc for Van Buren/Fallout 3.

But what I am wondering is if you could give me a list of all of the major players that left/were fired from Black Isle or Interplay, and what role they played in the original Fallout, and in Fallout 2. I know this might be asking a lot but I want to know what you know. You guys, and many on the Interplay messege boards and in the entire Fallout community, feel as strongly, if not stonger, than you do about ths issue.

I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
