Once again we see why reproduction needs to be a state sanctioned event.

Right? I mean, autisic kids are difficult to deal with, and I think some parents are desperate to have normal kids. Theyd do...anything. I dont think I could deal with it. Id resent that kid and likely end up being cruel to it.

You can't fix stupid.

Nope you can't and that is why the NRA controlled US can't be fixed.

Yep--fix loot boxes but completely ignore being bought by the NRA and the deaths of even more children. One f'k up country!

My question abridged: Is it possible to have a 'peaceful protest or march' without threats of violence?
Yes.
How?

You did not address the underlying philosophical question.

I guess I'm missing the underlying philosophical question. It looked to me like you were asking if a 'peaceable protest or march' was possible without violence. It definitely is. What am I missing?

Are you asking if the source of the threatened violence is important? Yes, if the protesters are threatening the violence, well then it's not constitutionally protected... But if the protesters are being threatened with violence for protesting, if the state does not protect them from that violence, their civil rights have been violated.
Just look what the Guard did to a protest in Ohio years ago. Trump would have loved it!

Idiots will buy the game anyway. Only way to end the micro transactions is by no one buying it or any game with these transactions. It's easy to get rid of this practice, but most people are just stupid and will buy it.

It amazes me this stuff finds an audience. They'd have to pay me to subject myself to that.

I must have played a different GW2 than everyone here so far.

I found the end-game content to be non-existent and/or boring. You could fight world bosses as a group, but it was essentially just a zerg fest, with no actual coordination or strategy required.

World PvP was the exact same. Just a giant glob of people relentlessly attacking wooden doors all day/night.

I did enjoy the questing while leveling as an Asura, but got bored quickly once max level was reached.

Yea... was going to say the same thing. lol.

(Though some of the newer world bosses did actually require some coordination - Great Jungle Worm for example)

I also despise the side effect of F2P game design: "Lets not actually put any cool stuff in the game and just keep putting everything in the gem store". And they even screwed that up introducing outfits, so you can't even mix and match cool looking gear with each other to make a unique outfit anymore with gem store stuff.

I'll agree with these comment as well. It seems the glowing reviews of most of the posters ignore many of the issues of the game as well as the misinformation about the F2P accounts not having restrictions.
The glowing fan boy reviews, which they more than entitled to make, ignore many if not all of the issues with the game. Anet won't even replace their official forum that they know are broken, let alone interact with customers there. Wintersday???? (like all their festivals) just recycled same old content year after year. They still haven't fixed the elixer problem in the latest episode.
The game can be good and fun but one shouldn't ignore the issues that the game and it's devs have.

CCleaner hides a Chrome install and changes your default browser now. It caught me by surprise. I reviewed the install options and the custom install options. It doesn't give you a choice not to install chrome.

I just checked mine going from 5.22 (7.86mb installer) to 5.23 (7.89mb installer) and didn't get anything else installed?!

I know a lot of programs are using chrome now to render an options window or something, but ccleaner is not one of them.

Sorry, but I disagree, and replicated it as well with another install. I guess I could record it to prove it to you, but CCleaner installed Chrome on my machine, simple as that.

Wonder what it means for future steam releases...

Irrelevant ---it's available from many sources including the Microsoft Store and retail store hard copies. They are all affected, not just the copies purchased through steam

I think it's pretty relevant - how do we know the steam version is going to get any support/patches? Are you saying the steam version with get zero support whatsoever?

Buy the retail version and it requires a steam activation. No big deal. They will support it. Take off the tin foil hat! LOL
