I don't understand why the IW game art was so bad. Its like they didn't want to shell out the bucks to hire top notch artists. I guess that's what you get when Programmers want to play art director.

Sadly the game had a lot going for it and wouldnt have been half as bad as it was if it didn't run so assy. I can play every other current pc title with the settings cranked all the way up and they are smooth. But with IW I have to lower everthing to the lowest possible setting and still only get around 8 frames per second. +that's with the latest patches and the dxtool.
I've always been a great fan of the Thief series but I'm afraid without a major overhaul to that engine the game will hardly be playable.

Well, I'm looking forward to this one with much glee.
As far as people saying that it will look like crap in a jungle setting, we'll have to wait and see.. the press release said they are using a new engine.

On an off note.. seemed that a whole slew of games came out before this 2nd go in Iraq to get get the public, mainly the youth into that mindset.. could this be foreshadowing for an inevitable skirmish with korea?

I will not being playing this game.
Maybe if they made the game disks free.. or only 15 bucks or something i would.. But adding this price up yearly its just not worth it.

I know a couple guys who were working on the trek game and feel very sorry for them... But now even more sorry for myself seeing as I'll be competing with them for work since they are back on the market.
