STEAM uses new URINE TECHNOLOGY Oct 29, 2003, 16:34

Possibly incorporating the technology to turn urine into 'gel', the new release of STEAM could, in fact, be described as a pile of urine. It is an additive process that I hope will be transparent to the user who downloads STEAM.

A disposable, degradable, scent free urination pile of STEAM. The integrated handles allow for easy one hand use. Each spill proof degradable Pouch contains a special "Granular Polymer" that instantly absorbs and converts urine into a neutralizing Gel. No more hauling jugs to your computer stand or searching for that toilet lid - just use STEAM!!

this map pack kicks ass! i was skeptical when someone compared it to quake3 maps, which is an insult, but the old-school deathmatch feel is there from the quake days.

another one for the ladies! with 99 sims expansions and the new Myst crap coming out, they can now quit bitching about female-oriented games.

Bot AI requires skill and finesse. UT and OFP both have done a fantastic job of simulating live opponents. Poor bot code like that found in Quake3 does not yeild the same experience.

With a HEAVILY scripted game such as this, bots would make the game worthwhile after playing through the scripts.

If you want to send a message to MS that crap sells, go buy halo. Excrement like this really should be flushed down the toilet. Noone deserves any money for putting out shit like this - next thing you know, you'll be buying tomb raider or hunting unlimited.

I guess i have higher standards for AI - NOLF2, Vietcong and Operation Flashpoint are just three examples of putting more than 3 lines of AI code, but those were real games with immersive environments, not some cobbled together pile of shit like halo.

andy - what the hell do you know about games? nothing much after reading your post...

"Out of about 10 reviews so far the lowest score it has received was around 87 and almost all of them gave it some award such as "Editor's Choice" or "Top Game" or some other such recognition. Ya know why??? The game is freaking good so just get over it. It will sell well and all the negativity you can muster won't change that. "

I think Myst was a huge seller, and so are all the sims shlock. Selling units does not a good game make, my friend!

And so, looking at the lack of enemy AI, the repetitive, boring, uninteresting levels, the lack of a progressing narrative, the lack of any strategic engagements, the lack of a game - we have HALO! Woopee - maybe they will shoot themselves in the foot and make a sequel to Oni.

the game is a pile of crap - at least in single player.

can you believe the enemies and the AI? enemies placement is so bad it seems like the bungie staff populated the poorly constructed levels in 15 minutes with the same grouping of brain-dead aliens.

truly a pile of shit! there are at least a half dozen FPS that kick halos ass, but unfortunately don't kick MS's marketing budget, so we have bargin bin trash being passed off as a game.

It seems that Israel fits your definition nicely - by its own volition, Israel has instituted the most lethal form of Aparteid on this planet! A truly racist and fanatical state, Israel collectively punishes an entire race of people based on their ethnicity.

And anything more than a half-hearted attempt at introducing civilians to CIA activities would, of course, need to include the requisite drug running, assasinations, training and funding terrorists, torture and terrorizing of civilian populations and the leaders of popular movements and labor unions. This is the reality of the CIA.

Have fun acting like trained dogs fetching each CD when EA snaps their fingers. Heel doggies - be good consumers, and jump through hoops! HAHA no thanks!

I bought the first and if it wasn't for the NOCD crack, it would never get played. I don't have room for a kennel over here, and the message to EA is no more dollars for the franchise.

did they rewrite the AI code for the PC version? because the xbox release had predictable AI which resembled something from id.

The level design was bland as are your adversaries. But i am looking forward to the multiplay...!

doom3 engine has serious limitations. look at the maps that will run on this engine - tiny corridor creeper maps.

elite force was a good match because the level design was bland and repetitive and above all - SMALL!

more tiny, indoor corridors. WOW! and with the new lighting, now they are dark!

regurgitated DM - nothing new here and the single player sounding weak - they should delay this until they can come up with a game.

hmmm, even worse than i thought! after reading that preview, it doesn't seem like there is much of a game there. and when those flying heads appear, it will lose all of it's attempts at suspense and become one corny, silly little tech demo not far removed from the box stack test in the preview.
